If thats the case i would rather stay on 5.0 as no problems with it on my model n9005.

I realized there is no point for Ultra Power Saving mode since I have 10000mAh. No need for camera app as it produced much more fuzzy pictures. Off Screen memo (when you just take out the S Pen to launch a memo on screen) can be easily replicated. LTE only mode easily can be had by dialing *#2263#.
I have regained back finger AirView, my animated photos (GIF). Google Smart Lock is actually present iwth the Android 5.0 here you just swipe the screen to open when a trusted bluetooth-connected device is on (no need to do a pass code or pattern code). This is under your security setup. Other things from the 5.1.1 were theme colors and skins.
We are still pretty ok with 5.0. There are no bugs that I see so far. No point of going 6.0 if it means there are bugs to still iron out for the next fe months.

paul, 31 Mar 2016nothing from samsung they are not respect the clients , you dont recive any update from them. ... moreToo late tho for those who have just upgraded on a 2 year contract. (ball and chain job) or just paid cash £700 to £750 pounds just to get the latest model, but ur right about smsung tho, they are terrible for rushing out phones and then u spend the next 18months crying out for updates to rectify things, terrible to say the least !
Why can't you do a update on this piece of shit phone example when taking a simple picture it takes 10 seconds for this stupid phone to process the phone WTF can't even do constant snap like the Apple phones. I am going to punt this phone and get a new one.

need a sincere suggestion please. which one should i buy? samsung galaxy note3 or Galaxy s5?
I fiddled around with the first Galaxy Note. I realized it has only 1 GB of RAM, apps are limited to only 2 GB, 5.3" AMOLED screen and has only 2500mAh battery. It was ahead of its time in late 2011.
Now it's with a family member and I just bought a 5000mAh extended battery for it.
This is what removable battery system is all about - extending the life of the device. Sealed batteries just limits them, to make you want to buy one ever year. This is meant to be tools, not for status, with fake gold finishes. We are not limited iOS users that NEED to carry around powerbanks, because they want thin fragile phones.
My Note 3 now has 10000 mAh Zerolemon battery and 128 GB for all my needs till it finally breaks down. Probably will even skip the Note 6 if it has disappointing sealed battery. If all things of the next Galaxy Note are sealed batteries, I'm seriously thinking of getting a Note 4 and get that with a Zerolemon 10000mAh battery.

Note 3 > Note.5
Features sets for each are different. This is where Samsung is failing - features we enjoyed, they remove on the next. Silly decision making.
Note 3 = Note 4 = Note 5
price and successor tag is just for filling specs sheet but all the three are just same ! Nearly.
The lack of memory expansion and removable battery stopped me from getting the Note(point)5. I call it the point 5 because I think it's half of any of the previous Galaxy Notes. Since then, I have upgraded my microSD card to 128GB, had 10000mAh battery.
Note.5 also missing on/DISCONTINUED features:
*Infrared Remote Controller
*micro USB 3.0 which is up to 10 times faster than 2.0
*S Pen annotation on S Calendar
*finger Air view
Sure, the point5 has better cameras, fingerprint scanner, and a useless hear beat sensor. But missing the all important memory expansion and removable battery system for more power-user options was a real deal breaker.
Keep your Note 3, and hope all the missing features will be back on the Note 6.
