AnonD-491587, 22 Jan 2016glad 5.0 is working okay for you TheNeighbour.I don't have to keep worrying about running out of battery, or needing to plug in.
Today I managed on a single battery which lasted 16.5 hours, with 4H26M screen on for mostly browsing, Bluetooth earset connected, 6H music & audio book, a bit of Chromecasting and downloaded 355 MB of a TV episode.
Here is that progressive screenshots of my battery usage from 4 different time periods of today:
Normally I download 2 to 4 GB of media, so 355 GB is small data usage in contrast. One thing is for sure, a single battery can last you till you get home if you only use it for moderate social media, some 500 MB of data use, some 3-4 hours music, and even Bluetooth connected the entire day.
sunny, 19 Jan 2016one of the main reason to have note 3 is strong battery backup while heavy usage. i use wifi, fb, whattapp, calls , internet , mgs etc and battery life on my model N9005 is good. so its great to have extra batteries so phone doesnt drain while out. nonremovable batteries in a phone would not be my choice and thats why i dont buy them sunny.
TheNeighbor, 22 Jan 2016Using the Smart Remote app can not only control TVs, but also the air-conditioning and project... moresee ya have to have a good memory and remember what ppl said when they owned note 3. i dont think note 3 is plastic. yeah back cover is hard plastic. but the rest of note 3 build is good. and being able to swap batteries and using 128gb memory is great. ive loads of memory internal and external in my note 3.
hopefuly all this will stop. note 3 battery life for me is good.
Tcool, 22 Jan 2016Absolutely right!

I don't have to go over to the custodian where I work for the remote controller. Waste of time of filling up a form and even returning it.

"Yeah, but you have to pay the labor cost for opening the cover and replacing the battery, it's not free. Plus the bother and time consuming of going to the service center.
But with Note 3, you can do it yourself, no need to go to the service center. You can save the spare time for other important activity.
See the difference?"

Taking out infrared, removable battery, memory expansion, will never downgrade the phone with those useless features. I know most people are not using extra battery with their phone even if has removable battery, not most people put expansion memory card to their phone even it has SD card slot, and most of all almost nobody care about the primitive infrared remote control that can be use only to limited brand of TVs.
Only 1% of phone users are using those features.
sifat ahmed, 21 Jan 2016I hope samsung galaxy note 3 better than samsung galaxy s5I think it is in terms of bigger screen and more ram.
