TheNeighbor, 16 Jan 2016It's a moot complaint.

All that comes from your heart is still the premium Note 5, up to this page you still mention Note 5, perhaps you love it, cause the more you hate, the more you love. LOL!
FYI I never did mentioned Note 5 from my previous posts in this page, only now, you can check and copy-paste it again cause that is your career: COPY-PASTE university instructor.
blonndi, 16 Jan 2016My note 2014 edition us supposed to be getting 5.1.1. Some already got the update. So if my ta... moreAs I mentioned, I tried out a Note 3 ROM that has the Note.5 (based on 5.1.1) and S6 functions. Yeah, it's just OK. The big thing I wanted was the Off Screen Memo function. The Nearby Device function placement was difficult to find, and I lost the AirView finger function. I did not see significant changes as you can install the APK if you want that Off Screen Memo function. Battery function was ok though. In the 20 hours I had the ROM running the Note 3, I managed to get some 4 hours 43 minutes with just internet browsing with notifications on, with some 16% left. So, it's no surprise that a Note 3 can hold as much, as opposed to some false claims.
Because I was missing some features I really liked, like AirView (without the S Pen), I went back to 5.0.
Ah, there's no point of getting a Note.5 except some illogical reasoning of wanting of wirelessly charging (still slow even with "fast" charging), fragile glass back, sealed battery that will eventually degrade significantly in 6 months, no infrared function, no USB 3.0, no memory expansion and flawed S Pen silo storage design.

Lots of drawbacks on Note Edge:
-ugly cheap plastic
-short battery power endurance even with extra battery
-only 3.7MP front cam
-fingerprint sensor is hassle
-thick brick at 8.3mm
-scroll screenshot not supported
-latest wearables not supported
-no auto enhance for camera
-useless edge screen making more lags
