I watch a leaked video on note 5 and by looking at it, it looks like it will have sd card slot. I kept pausing it. Il post a link so you can look. Its got power button and volume button and couple slots down the side as well. So dont give up hope. Its going to 5.9inch Abhi D:-)
AnonD-365057, 08 Jul 2015update must have been for 4.4.4Its still at 4.4.2.
With a 4100 mAh battery inside the note 5, i won't have any problem with that! But scrapping a Micro SD slot is just ridiculous.
I was warming up to the samsung note series lately but this news makes me again go to alternates with MicroSD slot.
I will only consider Note 5 if it has 64 GB internal in the base model and price is kept as much as a 32GB model.
Note 5, the source states that it will feature a 5.67-inch QHD Super AMOLED display, a bit of a departure from the 5.89 inches we were previously led to expect. The smaller diagonal means a 70.6mm display width, and that somewhat clashes with the narrow bezels and overall 77.3mm width in the latest leaked renders, so something may be off here.
I got a software update about a month ago. Havent a clue what it was for. Its still on 4.4.2. Got my note tablet 2014 edition updated to kikat as well:)

ithehappy, 08 Jul 2015To be honest, GSMArena won't do anything. You know why? Because its impossible to take action ... moreYeah. I understand everything you say. Gesmarena do nothing. Ive sent 3 emails to them and nothing happened. Its not nice having lies told about me. But like you said they are more to be pity. Ive been looking it up and they said exactly what you said. Ive seen ppl using bad language and nothing is done. But something should be done. like yourself i just come on here to help ppl if i can. I will watch out for those ppl you told me about. Thank you ithehappy for your comment. I Really appreciate it:-)

Because its impossible to take action against trolls. I have been all kind of trolls my entire life, and no matter what you do (report it or whatever) they will keep coming back. These people have no life, believe me. If one is banned then he will simple create another account and keep coming back. What you don't understand is they don't have a life. I mean some people might call us trolls you know, because we are here commenting almost every day, but what they don't understand is we come here to see if there is anything new, or some newcomers asking some queries or not! In any case its a matter of trying to help others.
But people who have dirty heart and mind will never understand that. There was a time I was angry to these kind of people, but all I feel about them is PITY now, because that's the only thing they deserve in this world, pity from others.
There is an Indian forum called digit (dot) in/forum, and there are two disgraceful members who have been misleading the newcomers for ages, yet absolutely nothing happens to them, this time the mods should be blamed, cause they don't get banned! I got banned when I started to point out there nonsense with logic. Well....
SaiyanGoku and kkn13, these two members. If by any chance you come across these members then do anything but stop reading their nonsense.

So i ... moreWell I have used two phones with non removable battery, One M7 and Moto X 2013. While the former was an excellent phone, with a great display and superb built, I just couldn't fathom that camera, so had to sell it within just one month. Used the Moto X for over six months though, battery life was still good when I sold it at around seventh month. So I bet longevity would not matter at all for Note 5. Two years without any problem is the least thing you can expect, I think.
Let's see what Samsung does.

I was saying do a full wipe. Meaning wipe everything, from Recovery. Take a backup with Titanium or whichever app you prefer, restore it later.
Note 3's battery life is very very good on Lollipop. I don't posses any idea about that midrange phone G2, but I bet Note 3 would be better than it!
