Man, If you get another phone and if you can survive without your Note 3 for couple of days.
There is an advice for you.
Factory reset your cellphone and don't install anything nor use it for 24 hours on flight mode and if the fall is less good for you if more than there is some serious issue with your battery or the battery connections.

I hate that when they require to install it just to be able to message the FB friends.
It is also one of causes of lags on most smartphones.

A continuous torrent downloading of some 8GB worth can drain the battery in 4 hours+. Continuous gaming with heavy graphics can get you 2 to 4 hours.
If you want to conserve, turn off bluetooth, GPS, data, and wifi. Have a toggle icon like PowerToggle on your screen if you want to quickly turn on these radios if you need to. Those FB or WhatsUp notifications will drain your battery if your constantly logged on with notifications on.Even set your email notifications to check once in 4 hours instead of every 15 minutes. With root, I even installed Greenify certain apps to hibernate so that they don't constantly go on to connect to the internet to update notifications or app updates.
I don't have to worry about conserving as I have a spare battery with me all the time. I only change in the late afternoon. Rarely do I find myself needing to charge outside of the house.
I bought note 3 new 2 weeks ago. The battery lasts 1.5 day and im not a heavy user but now it goes 60% in 4 hrs. Im using 4.3 system. Any suggestions why it happens??

Planning to buy Note 3 but skeptic about price drop after the launch of note 4. Does any one have any ideas about the same. If yes, then please share.
I have been using note 3 for the past 6 month, I really love this phone and i feel it is the best phone with world class specifications. The only issue people might complain about the phone is, the dimensions. But that could be ignored as it is so light weight and gives the largest display feature.

You most probably have a defective battery. They should replace your device, or at least a new battery. It's not normal your battery drains instantly even if you have nothing running.

The life of a battery is usually around 500 cycles or charges, as the chemical make-up of the battery will degrade as you charge and discharge. If you were frequent and pretty heavy user with your device working overtime with heat constantly generated, don't be surprised with the shorter battery life. The best advice is to keep the charge between 40 to 80% to have its ability hold power.
But hey, buying another battery should be fine. Better if you buy 2 new ones to cycle from time to time if you plan to have the Note 3 for a bit longer. Since I'm a heavy user, a full charge lasts me 12 hours at a time. I just carry a spare so my usage lasts beyond when I get home while still keeping my data on.
Im having battery issues with my new note 3 bought on 18th of this month.. the battery drops instantly after charging and I've to charge my phone twice a day without games as well.
Is that normal? Or is there some kinda problem with my set?
Please guide me properly?!
