AnonD-190834, 17 Sep 2014Samsung doesn't really try to improve the ui software that is to heavy to work. You can try Next Launcher, it is the best I had used, no need to use Touchwiz, even I don't like the appearance of Touchwiz due to its large sized icons. Nova gives you many options for customisation.

Once its starts giving out wrong battery reads, it's likely you need to change batteries. Before that, try removing the battery entirely for a good minute. There's also a likely chance for those who never take out the battery to reset the fuel guage program on the device to have a sort of refresh. This is a flaw common to tablets, and you just need to disconnect the battery for a few seconds to regain correct readings every 3 to 4 months.
It doesn't happen to my Note 3 since I cycle 3 batteries, giving each battery ample rest from time to time and the degradation of the battery slowed down. You can charge the extra battery with a charging cradle at home.
My experience with android and and Window phone and ios

AnonD-305286, 15 Sep 2014Once the battery drops to 20% it doesn't take much time to drain it. It's suspicious. This is normal for Samsung phones, i found the same on S4, its Samsungs way of imitating good battery life, at first it drops almost nothing then suddenly start dropping like F. It works, people say "wow used it all day and still at 30%, so good battery!". Then 5-10 minutes later the well known battery low audible warning.
Samsung phones are good but their support for the phones are very poor. Now that the note 4 is launched note 3 is completely ignored by Samsung. Just read on gsmarena that some budget Samsung phone(A-500) will have note 4 features and updated TW features, but what about note 3? This is one serious issue what i dont like about Samsung. They did the same for note 2 and now for the note 3.
my galaxy phone n3 battery has spoiled, please where and how do i get another one? bail me out please.

HUH ! how many times do pple let there phone go to 20 percent!.im streaming downloading surfing calling n texing and still get home from work and still on 50 to 60 percent when i go bed and put it on charge again. AnonD-307636, 15 Sep 2014Can it be used as a phone?no,but you can serve your cakes on it,hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
hi am going to buy note3 N9006 from the intrnet so plz anybody can help me how to check the phablet is gnuine or not????
AnonD-214926, 16 Sep 2014pls tell me it has a mic and the mic is good.Nooo.... It doesn't have a microhone at all. You get a call and people don't hear you. You can take silent movies with the Note 3. Go get the iPhone, at least it records mono. I bet the new iPhone 6 still do along with their attempt of a phablet called 6 Plus.
grandhighdroid, 15 Sep 2014Wrong. It has a microphone and is a phone. You are thinking of the galaxy tab. Or you are ... moreYes Samsung Note 3 is better than iphone 6+ on many specs. However, the biggest drawback of Samsung mobile products is the reliability of Android. How exactly the software matches hardware is beyond my knowledge, but Android runs on Nexus really well, it would run on Samsung well enough in the first year or so, then quickly deteriorate. I have an Galaxy S4 bought last year in August and it has so many bugs now it is beyond control. I'm personally not going go buy another Samsung mobile phone.
