If you are indeed into sturdier materials, you would have not bought the Note 3 AT ALL! Metal dents, glass breaks, and the plastic Samsung uses seems to bounce against drops pretty well. What do you do with other branded phones? That's right, you put plastic and silicone protection.
Note 3 is unmatched with its features. It isn't for all, but the Note series has brought about other companies trying hard to mimic is success. They just don't get it - without the Wacom digitizer, it's just an ordinary smartphone with a big screen.
Did you do a hard reset before or after the installation of the software?
Maybe it's the cause of the glitches I'm encountering.

My first Samsung phone (Galaxy Note 3). As of my experience, Samsung as worked hard on operating system to add some good additional features which can make use of hardware to the maximum extent. But the phone is having very poor build quality. After paying around 45k(INR) for a phone and using it for a month, I noticed change in the physical shape of the phone. Phone got bend like a new LG G Flex. After several approach to Samsung Customer Care, they failed to resolve this issue and they are not willing to take up this under warranty. Guys, when we pay so much of money, we take care accordingly. But even after taking up all this care it has happened so... Guys, Its very clear... Phones and may be other devices manufactured by Samsung is not at all good. They use very cheap materials for such a expensive goods. All I need to say, don`t go for it... There are still many other brands which offer a good quality phone than Samsung... Go for Sony, HTC, Nokia,... But say "No" to "Samsung"...

I love my note 3! Everything about it is great! Good performance, good camera, good calling clarity. Only cons is battery drains fast in low signal places of course and when I'm using it for demanding tasks like playing games. I see people saying things about the brightness bar after the update. It's fine for me but I have the Qualcomm variant. Love all the features too!
AnonD-266047, 15 Jun 2014In performance.. Not in features and with iOS 7, you got lags, battery drains and security vulnerabilities.
Tcool, 15 Jun 2014What?!!! You compare Note 3 to iPhone 5s? You're a good joker. LOL!its clear u mean on of them is much better but i just cant detect which side u are !i5 or N3 ;)
After I upgraded to 4.4.2 my display automatic brightness adjustment ceased from working.
When it was on 4.3 it was working perfectly well. Now, it doesn't change with the lightening condition as it used to do on 4.3.
Is anyone one experiencing this same issue with me?
I'm using the SM-9000 Exynos version.
Tcool & everyone, do you experience the same?

AnonD-266047, 15 Jun 2014Does N9005 laggs or heats up or has battety draining fast issue Not at all!Been using it for 8 months now, still smooth as ever even after updating to Android 4.4.2 Kitkat.
No problem with the battery.
Of course there are some factors causing battery draining fast like weak network coverage signal, bluetooth connectivity and others, but that is common to all smartphones.
