No such issues of loosen grips, except the Note 1 as some of the latches wore out, but still latches on. The Note 2 which my wife uses has an intact back cover latches.
Having the extra battery just frees you from worrying about running out of power. You can use the Note 3 at your heart's content. I use widgets, signal strength, anti-virus, animated wallpaper, Tasker, Greenify, LTE Discovery to fix into LTE, hotspot for my laptop. It's usually 4 pm when I need to change to a fresh battery, with over 5 hours of accumulated screen on usage, downloading some 2GB of torrents, and 2hours of internet mmusic. No need to plug it in and wait to power up, and just that extra battery to carry with its own carrying pack. Easy to pocket.
The Xperia Z, and iPhone fans can't maintain that high continuous usage without plugging in after 2 to 3 hours, based on actual use of people I know. Having thin uni-bodied devices is meaningless if you need to plug in more than half the day while it of the house. This is one of the reasons why it's sensible to get a smartphone with a removable battery.
ata, 02 Apr 2014does note 3 have usb on the go?Yes! Note 3 has USB on the go!
TheNeighbor, 02 Apr 2014I heard you get more like a realistic 15kbps there, than 10 to 12 mbps. How can we know the speed of the data network?
I mean just to check if the network is giving what is said on the subscription.

I just bought an extra battery kit yesterday.
But I am afraid that the lock clip or notches for the back cover will get loose sooner due to frequent opening when replacing the battery. What is your experience?
Tcool, 02 Apr 2014Can we use other sim card for the phone and another sim with different number for the dialer?Yes, two entirely different SIMs, with the P1 can operate calls and text, music control, of the Note 3. And the P1 becomes as the Bluetooth audio for music and calls. Not bad for $18.

TheNeighbor, 02 Apr 2014I heard you get more like a realistic 15kbps there, than 10 to 12 mbps.Yeh.. That's with gprs and edge mostly with cheap data plans however,India is not lagging that much as u think ,with hsdpa it goes upto 10 to 12mbps max but that is only if ur a elite customer means u got to have a good data plan..i guess that's how it works in almost every country irrespective of any technology or bands.
In India we also have LTE but currently that is only for dongles and its not at all a wise decision to get that right now and compaired to 3g u get less data bandwidth with LTE.so for me more data bandwidth is more important than the fast LTE speeds..right now...

to make calls but most of the time i will be using my bluetooth or wired headset to talk..
yes even i think duel sim version is overprised for no big reason..

Not worth it with the lower specs just to get that dual SIM function, I'd rather get myself a low end phone dialer with its own SIM slot and can access the SIM on my Note 3 via Bluetooth.
LTE version is well worth the lower price with 10 times the speed for data download than 3G.
note 3 is an superb..handphone.that function all is fast .the camera so clear...the android so superb

I read on official samsung china websites the price is a little expensive due to dual sim card support .as far as i know it sud be sd800 version .Does it support duel sim standby ? if yes which carriers u r using in india right now? Is it true that the duel sim version is not LTE supported..?..how much RAM it got 3gb or 2gb.
shahin, 01 Apr 2014Does it have usb on the go?Yes, it definitely has it. The S3 had it (so did the S2) so there is no reason why this one shouldn't have it. It works great when I use it and it works with mice, keyboards, and hard drives (and USBs OFC)
Great device, but Android and Samsung' s horrible software makes this lag more than my 2 year old Iphn 4s. I ve switched to android for the bigger screen and for less limitations, no need for iTunes, but user experience is weak, ios is worth the money, no doubt now after 5 months of note 3 use. Not an apple fan, but android and Samsung need to do a better job. Apps way better in ios, android apps note optimized for the powerhouse and the amazing screen of note 3/experia Z or htc one. Best thing about note 3: its camera, the worst: samsung bloat ware and inaceptable lag for its features. Enjoy yours, I m selling mine, maybe give Android another chance in a few years time
