Ali, 28 Feb 2014Hi All,
This is Ali from India.

i.e. if it was bought from Saudi Arabia, it will only update to Kitkat when the update is already available in Saudi Arabia.
The same goes if you bought it from Dubai.
Because the phone was registered from which country it was purchased that is why there is a serial number in it and other codes.

I am planning to get galaxy Note3 N9005(4G version) from Saudi Arabia or Dubai unfortunately which is unavailable in India.
I want to know whether there will be any problem while updating my Note3 N9005 to kitkat version in India.
Thanks in advance.

Does 4.4 allow you to select the sd card as storage for an app? i.e. allowing TTorrent to download files to your SD card.

I updated to the fjrst update of 4.4, around 300+ mb. There are chances that this restrictions are imposed some new update, yeah only problem I faced is I can't rename folders on SD Card PC but that also happens 4.3 in my case.
I see more people going for a Galaxy Note than the just medium performing phones like the favorite amongst our friends who needs to show that Apple logo.
The Note 3 isn't a 64 bit processor device (yet) but does have the quad-core Snapdargon 800 processor, plenty of RAM and a good higher capacity battery to take all the task you throw at it.
The S Pen is especially useful for drawing & notes;
marking up PDFs is easier with the S Pen than a finger;
split screen multi-tasking is extremely essential for taking notes down while researching on the Internet;
I can work with Adobe Photoshop Touch app to do detailed digital paintings;
even without OIS,the camera serves to take very good pictures & very high resolutioned videos;
I especially love the Animated photo mode for making GIFs that has the best editing interface for quickly editing which areas to freeze or animate;
and of course the long battery stamina that can last 10 to 12 hours straight on heavy use and you can just change the battery for another 100% charge.

My diehard Apple colleague now uses the Note 3 more than his iPhone 5s since he owns an architectural firm.

faeldk, 27 Feb 2014Even better than S5. Maybe the only that can beat note 3 is note 4. Hehehe. Yeah! Note 4 which will be IP 68 certified dust and water resistant.
S . SUDHAKAR, 27 Feb 2014Lets alert the users not to update to 4.4.Samsung has fixed this by launching a new update for kitkat users and the sd card problems are solved

Acolosha, 27 Feb 2014Yeah, me also, I can access and move files between internal memory and microSD cardFrom what i have read, some developers like quickpic and ES explorer have managed to work around it but most haven't.
