Restrictions for micro SD card would put a dent to my love for memory extensions. I'll be researching this issue further. I'd like to know the good reasons for this.

Can any regular note 3 posters (not iPhone or Nokia trolls) using 4.4 confirm this? If so I won't be updating.
Google is obsessed with cloud and small internal storage... They must think that everyone has access to fast and unlimited data all the time.... DONT BE SO, STUPID GOOGLE!
The shameless google has imposed restrictions on SD card usage in android 4.4 onwards. Did anyone know about this?. Search google with the keywords 'microsd card access problem in android 4.4'. Then you will come to know.
The restrictions (when the memory card is used in android 4.4 (or later) based mobiles* are :
> Cannot copy or move files and folders from internal memory to SD card.
> Cannot receive files to memory card (via WiFi or bluetooth)
> Can only download files (not via torrent softwares) to memory card.
> Cannot create a folder or sub folder in the SD card.
> Cannot copy or move files within the SD card.
> We can only read and format the SD card and set the storage for camera pictures and videos to SD card (not to specific folders, just in common).
> Usage of all file managers is restricted.
* means - not via card reader.

AnonD-238316, 26 Feb 2014In India, all Samsung stores display N9005 model and sell only N9000 and if you ask for N9000 ... moreNot only in India, I also experienced the same thing in Nigeria. It is strange and unusual, but the N9000 is good enough for me and I am planning to buy mine soon.
I do a lot of gaming on my GS3 (not Candy Crush, Angry Birds, ect.) I'm talking real games like Grand Theft Auto 3 and Playstation and Nintendo DS games through emulators. Would upgrading to this or the GS5 be better for games?
In India, all Samsung stores display N9005 model and sell only N9000 and if you ask for N9000 demo, they say no demo piece for N9000. If asked for N9005 for sale, they say it is not for Indian market. That is for demo N9005 and sales is for N9000.
Is Samsung things India is dump yard?

I noticed the S5 has a better processor but less RAM, and I wasn't sure how that would affect the performance difference between the two.

S5 has redeeming features like a better 16MP quick focusing mechanism for the camera, latest processor, water resistance, heart beat sensor, infrared remote, fingerprint scanner (not so reliable)and probably the fiberglass body.
It's still a good upgrade from the S3.
Note 3 is way better then S5 , S5 doesnt look good low specs then note3
Annoying confusion if I'll get the black/gold white/gold. Any thoughts anyone?
I'm looking for a big upgrade in terms of power, screen size, and general performance. I currently have a Galaxy S3. Should I just go for the Note 3, or is the Galaxy S5 going to be worth the wait?
samsung galaxy s5 is the best piece coming now it is simple better then note 3

AnonD-397, 26 Feb 2014The best phone ever... Thx Sammy for this great device ;)Galaxy note 3 is really the best phone in the market right now. With sensors and 3 gb ram, with air commend.. any other device is far behind...
TheNeighbor, 26 Feb 2014Sorry, I didn't mean anything by it. I've gone through 2 class 10 SanDisk micro SD cards, and ... moretry microSD by Sony. it is much stronger and fast transfer rate than Samsung. its almost 2years old now with me and use it in most of my droid like tab 3, gs2, gsy and most of my Nokias.I almost abuse it but still work fine. trust me! you will not regret it.
