Jack Tig, 23 Jan 2014I think the problem myt be your handset in particular. Samsung has always had a problem of mai... moreYea people who work at mobile industry they talk much work less means they don't work perfectly yea like me, I used to work with ford, making an parts, some parts comes bad and I don't care I packed and send it to customers.lol
[deleted post]Another silly and untruthful comment. You really do not have a Note 3.
The S Note are synced with your Samsung cloud account! You will always have every S Note file backed up. I have all of my S Notes since Note 1. You would also have backed up with Kies from time to time.
All would be lost if you didn't sign up for a Samsung account, or you're not saving copies. Another way of saving and saving all your S Note files are via syncing with other cloud storages like Google Drive, Dropbox. I even go the extra with Foldersync so there's a set copied onto my micro SD Card.
In the world of electronic data, you would need triple the backups and have cold or cloud storage. You'd be a fool to think otherwise. I handle dozens of new e-files everyday for my work, and I backup every week.
So, up yours and your "perfect" iPhone. We all know EVERYTHING isn't permanent.
I have a architect colleague who has been an Apple purist - he has a Mac Pro desktop, Mac Pro laptop, all the variants of the iPad, iPod Touch, iPhone since the 3G, and even the iPod Nano.
He got the Note 3 for his plan retention of a telco, saying it's a replacement of his iPod. After a few days of complaining about how tediously difficult it is to navigate around the Note 3, he actually finds the Note 3 supplementing his project management better and he has been jotting and sketching more about design ideas on his Note 3.
His iPhone 5s became a secondary device for his other number.
Jack Tig, 23 Jan 2014I think the problem myt be your handset in particular. Samsung has always had a problem of mai... moreAnd another iPhone user giving advice on a Note 3 page. iPhone also has inconsistent quality issues. If they don't, then what the hell are the service centers for? They do break down for no apparent reason. They do freeze. And now Apple has official announced trying to fix the random crashes in iOS7.
Abaddon-ISJ5, 23 Jan 2014LOL of course iPhone 5S. Note 3 runs in un-unique OS named Android.. you'll find that OS even ... more"Note 3 runs in un-unique OS named Android.."
WTF, man. Android is the most versatile and custom operating system out. I'm sticking to it and I enjoy the many things I can do that iOS users like you don't know about. I'm also developing my own Tasker sequences. Android is an open source for developers to tinker. Unlike Apple, Android has independent developers running different strains and are striving to improve on it all the time, discovering new ideas for what an ultimate OS is. I believe iOS is not spared from being a perfect or polished operating system itself with the official revelation (at long last!) that Apple is fixing a random boot problem. It's all over the internet news. Android is now with Google, the company which is providing iOS the more accurate mapping system that doesn't put you in peril. Android is unique, and that uniqueness stems with its customization, unlike closed ones that are limited in features.
"iPhone is unique and very secured with no Anti-virus apps (means very safe}that cause a lag, crashes or forse close."
News flash, Apple took out their claim to being the most safe on their website. Even their finger print scanner can now be by-passed. Again, Apple official has confirmed fixing random crashes on iOS7. Apple has been dodging the issues of crashing by not affirming it via you finding yourself back to your main page. Now you find it restarting on its own when you have a 30% or below battery level.
"And its not even a quad-core like this which eat a lot of powers and increase your electric bill."
You don't even know how things work. A charger has a rating of a light bulb. 5W or slightly more for a 2 to 3 hours of charge is minuscule on an electric bill. The Note 3's quad-core processor only works with one core for normal daily tasks. Its 4 cores come into play for heavier processing power like games. The electrical rating of an iPhone charger is practically the same as most of premium devices or tablets. You actually plug in a iPhone more or you need to be carrying a power bank so that the iPhone last till night for moderate to heavy use. A Note 3 can run the whole day on a 16 to 18 hours stretch with almost 7 hours of actual screen time for moderate to heavy use. You can't say that for the iPhone5s.
"trust me! I'm an Android user too but iPhone give me a better exp."
An iPhone can give you a better experience with limited possibilities, you mean. iPhone users come here at a Note 3 commentary page to affirm themselves by bashing what's actually offering a whole lot of features. I am one who has concluded that an iPhone is not the best for my PERSONAL needs. Apple has now resorted to copying Android features, screen size and accessories like a smart watch. iPhone can NEVER replicate the extra features the Galaxy Note series have. No memory expansion. No NFC for a bit of connection automation. No Wi-Fi Direct to any device. No Bluetooth data transfer to other device. No infrared blaster as a remote control. No ambient temperature and humidity sensor. No user removable battery. No direct wired to projector or TV. No stereo audio for video recording. No Wacom digitizer system.
neeraj8420, 23 Jan 2014suggest me note3 or iphone 5s?note 3 is better.
kimberly, 22 Jan 2014anyone can tell me what mean of micro sim? micro sim is a small sized sim card. To save the space this card is used. Apple will use still smaller nano sim. You can get your normal sim changed to micro sim from your service provider.
Jack Tig, 23 Jan 2014I think the problem myt be your handset in particular. Samsung has always had a problem of mai... moreI also replaced it for another note 3 which also had the same issue not all note 3 could be faulty if you don't believe it then try and compare note 2 camera with note 3 you will notice a huge difference.
007, 23 Jan 2014All the features on this phone are awesome but there is only one draw back that you get blurry... moreI think the problem myt be your handset in particular. Samsung has always had a problem of maintaining consistency when it comes to the quality of their products even if its the same model different people complain about different issues and some are lucky enough to get perfectly working handsets without any issues. Just see your supplier and try to trade it in fir a handset that doesn't have that glitch and hope you don't get a handset with a different issue. But once you get a good device you will be smiling.
All the features on this phone are awesome but there is only one draw back that you get blurry photos just like s4 even s3 and note 2 photos look better and clearer than note 3 and s4. Please fix this samsung
