AnonD-77892, 23 Jan 2014LOL of course iPhone 5S. Note 3 runs in un-unique OS named Android.. you'll find that OS even ... moreFor those iPhone users who come here telling us how smooth and perfect iOS is, here's an article I read in 2012 listing 12 reasons why iOS crashes. There is fragmentation within Apple devices!
All I'm saying is there will never be a perfect operating system. Developers can strive for one, but never attain it as everything - hardware parts and programs are in constant flux. Not even Android.
At least you get a pop-up notice that the app you were using had stopped in Android. In iOS, when an app crashes, you're brought back to the main page. Apple developed iOS from giving you any app crash notifications, thus giving the impression that you might have pressed something wrong.
Kit-Kat for Note 3 is now available for downloads in India, the update is 361 MB in size.
Updated to kitkat version. RAM usage is minimum as compared to jelly bean. Looks bit faster and smooth.

[deleted post]Another silly and untruthful comment. You really do not have a Note 3.
The S Note are synced with your Samsung cloud account! You will always have every S Note file backed up. I have all of my S Notes since Note 1. You would also have backed up with Kies from time to time.
All would be lost if you didn't sign up for a Samsung account, or you're not saving copies. Another way of saving and saving all your S Note files are via syncing with other cloud storages like Google Drive, Dropbox. I even go the extra with Foldersync so there's a set copied onto my micro SD Card.
In the world of electronic data, you would need triple the backups and have cold or cloud storage. You'd be a fool to think otherwise. I handle dozens of new e-files everyday for my work, and I backup every week.
So, up yours and your "perfect" iPhone. We all know EVERYTHING isn't permanent.
I have a architect colleague who has been an Apple purist - he has a Mac Pro desktop, Mac Pro laptop, all the variants of the iPad, iPod Touch, iPhone since the 3G, and even the iPod Nano.
He got the Note 3 for his plan retention of a telco, saying it's a replacement of his iPod. After a few days of complaining about how tediously difficult it is to navigate around the Note 3, he actually finds the Note 3 supplementing his project management better and he has been jotting and sketching more about design ideas on his Note 3.
His iPhone 5s became a secondary device for his other number.
