And it came with KitKat, which was so... morei updated to lollipop and had no problems. didnt have to do factory reset which surprised me. yes some users do need to reset if problems ocurr. mine runs really smooth on n9005. 5.0 nicer layout and experience, less ram usage. yes model n900 has some problems. but not all have problems on 5.0 and yes if after updating to 5.0 and its slow or having problems or whatever i agree always do a hard reset. maybe it was down to luck for me that i didnt need to do a reset. but im glad you are enjoying lollipop now on your phone my friend:)
Stay on kitkat ppl, and enjoy a problematic free note 3,kitkat all the way my friends, let the note 3 live out its life that little bit longer, kitkat runs smoooothly and always have done ;-)keep of that dreaded lollipop, its the worst update that ever came out, kitkat all the way duh !
I bought my Samsung Galaxy Note3 (SM-N9005) 2 years ago. And it came with KitKat, which was so powerful & easy to use without any issues. It consumes less RAM & not draining the battery much when the screen is off.
But after receiving Android 5.0 Lollipop, the things just started to get weird. It consumes more RAM capacity and drained the battery within few hours. And I tried everything to fix it because this device needs to be speedy.
After receiving the new "Smart Manager" application update the Android 5.0 issues became less painful. and after update I factory rest my phone, and it really worked for me.
Now I've been using Andriod 5.0 for nearly 06 months and I could recommend Lollipop update to anyone with 100% confidence. Everyone please make sure to Factory Rest your device after updating your phone. Because it is the only way to experience the fully version with it's own speed. I hope this will help every Galaxy Note3 user in the world.
This device is such a useful mobile to anyone who loves to feel the true Galaxy experience. :)
My note 3model is n9005 .Now my software version is 4.4.2 .i don't receive any updates. I want. Update please tell me how to i receive update in ota my

Anonymous, 11 Jun 2016I coudnt understand can u explain it bit further Why do you want to downgrade to kk? Its got problems. Stay on 5.0. If you have problems then do a reset which solves some isues. Backup all your stuff first. Make sure all your apps are updated for lollipop.
Kitkat all the way? Ah no! Deff not! Enjoying 5.0. Problem free for me and other users.
