I got the Note 3 two days ago. Great smartphone compared to owning the first two Galaxy Notes. Nothing compares to this with its very comprehensive features, capacity, versatility and vibrant SAMOLED full HD screen.
It does however have some glitches. Nothing is perfect. The Indexservice seems to be eating up my battery quite a lot from some corrupt files on my micro SD card. A reformat of the card solved it.
There's also a buggy security app prevention notification that keeps popping up with some of the apps trying to connect to the internet. I easily solved this with a safe root with Kingo Root, installed Greenify and hibernated all the pesky apps that keep trying to connect in the background. I'm not a fan of social network updates. I've done this to save battery for my Note 1 and 2.
Everything else is awesome for the Note 3. The improved S Note and propriety apps, S Pen increased responsiveness, more camera features, better one-handed operation by completely small scaling of the entire screen (yes, you can do this) and a better natural color matching AMOLED screen.
You get the Note 3 if you want a more productive and entertainment portable device. I don't even get why anyone can compare this to an iPhone. A Galaxy Note 3 is more ahead.

It has to be first activated in the region of origin before you can use any SIM card. If you use a SIM card from a different region, it locks to that region, until you get it fully unlocked (which any carrier should be able to do.)

You combine a budget phone with a luxury phone?
You're one of a kind, ridiculous guy!

Suresh Gomes, 10 Dec 2013Yes, You are correct , Bad camera. Note II is better than this.bad camera? your kidding or you just dont know anything about phones and cameras.
I got this phone immediately after its release and truly from my heart everything in this is awesome. Surely the best phone of the year.
Suresh Gomes, 10 Dec 2013Yes, You are correct , Bad camera. Note II is better than this.have you all actually read the camera review online or in gsmarena for Note3? Saying Note3 camera losing to Note2 is really really a joke of the day. Do you mean all reviewer of Note3 across the online community is lying to us? common, experience it yourself before making funny comments. I'm a Note2 user and my wife have a Note3. And I admire every aspect of Note3.
Suresh Gomes, 10 Dec 2013Yes, You are correct , Bad camera. Note II is better than this.very funny... I owned both phone now... And I strongly disagree that Note3 camera is worst than Note2.. Try taking photo of light at night, try outdoor photos.. Which part did the Note3 actually lose to Note2? If you cannot afford a Note3, keep quiet and stick to your Note2.. Don't jealous and give false statement.
