Bring back your Note 3 to Saudi Arabia and use it there with the local Saudi sim and make 5 minutes call, then you're done region-unlocking your device.
Simple when you know it. :-)
So glad I got this phone. Samsung finally got it right.
I had the S4 and got rid of it after it didn't perform well. But this? Man, will not change phones for a while.
David, 21 Nov 2013Can I watch you tube videos without lagg, with this phone? Depends on your Internet speed.

AnonD-202234, 21 Nov 2013is thiS good phone? It's not a good phone, it's a great phone. Ever since, I've been iPhone and Blackberry user. I even used to tell myself that Android phones are cheap, common and hard to use but when I made a switched from iPhone 5 to this Note 3, I asked myself why only this time I bought an android phone. Why did I spent much with these overpriced iPhones.

My point is before you buy any item, you should research first information about that item. Don't buy blindly!
You should at least ask the sales attendant what is the meaning of that warning sticker written in Arabic.

Also the region lock in Samsung is new to me. I knew it was there in iPhone. But my point is, I had come to these sites to see the review and all they hyped Note 3 for it's features but in the cons I have never seen a word about the region lock. Then its clearly not review, its just another marketing strategy.

The below was my communication with the middle east samsung d... moreThe region lock facility comes with every branded phone you buy all over the world. especially middle east. even the warranty which is provided by the dealer is also limited to that region itself. this thing is clearly written on manufacturer web. you should had gone on it before buying it.
