no FM no Note 3, 21 Sep 2013Radio FM : yes with RDS -> TBC -> NO. LOLSo it's final. Bye bye Note 3...
AnonD-189070, 21 Sep 2013which one is better octa core or the snapdragon according to performance wise?In general the snapdragon 800 is better but I only say this because the exynos '5410' in S4 turned out to be buggy thus causing a considerable lag.
We will need for reviewers to update us with benchmarks and usage details..
its very disgusting. all along i was waiting for note 3 hoping to get radio in it but to my dismay no included i think i have to settle for the note 2 because there is just little hardware and software update. I am very disappointed.
which one is better octa core or the snapdragon according to performance wise?
TJ, 20 Sep 2013It's not just samsungs mate, my Xperia Z heats up like hell also. dont expect a phone that is ... moreu r a big liar xperia z doesn't heat that high , and after their last update it doesn't heat at all .. i used both phone and shame on samsung all heating up plus plastic laggy phones
be honest even if its against ur loved phone
Sammy u are going to lose many customrs if no fm radio, including me cos that,s what prevented me from buying sam s4
NO Radio ! Such an important , productive media input.
Who made that decision?
You're correct buddy! They have the indian version absolutely nothing! Still just look at its asking price of 50k! what d f man! And just like the s4, the lte version(with snapdragon) is way better in performance and battery life and such stuff! Only in benchmarks the octa core version is better! I hate samsung for this!
And the 4k recording they say, its just 2k recording!(lte).
It sucks! and look at the update speed this year, no phone has been updated to higher os!
All my frineds are crying with their s3 and note2 stuck on 4.1, its really shameful for samsung!
Does the note3 LTE model also has dual sim support? Can anyone confirm this?
Anonymous, 21 Sep 2013you are wrong. There is a LED light. I have seen in youtube videos.don't u say that a LED flashlight, i know this fella have it. what i mean is LED notification lights, as far as i search in youtube, there is none shows about this..
Gsm people I have just got my hands on the Samsung galaxy note 3 at the Samsung store in UB city in Bangalore India.
I have a note 2 so here are my impressions.
Screen looks good, size is great ... the air view is intresting..
The white looks a little better than the black one.
I played with the airview action memo and was impressed.
That is all for the good part.
Now for the average and bad..
The phone was laggy .... may be because no snapdragon 800...as I have not seen the snapdragon one may be my bias
The white cover showed some grime and dirt
No Dual sim makes it less appealing.
Finally as I walked out of ub city it was drizzly and the note 3 is not water or dust resistant. .
At 49, 900 it is not something I will want to buy ... so how much do I think it is worth with no dual sim . No snapdragon and no ip 58 certificate well not more than 39,900
So sammi if you want your price give us better features ...
Finally I asked the sales guy about bookings .... less than 50 sir was the answer on being pushed less than 30 was his confession. ..
Contrast that to more than 400 in the first 24 hours of the Samsung galaxy s4 launch for the same store. ...
Well the numbers are already showing poor response...
Sammi wake up.
AnonD-189002, 21 Sep 2013I am from Turkey. Our people do not want to model N9000. 4k video only model n9005 and accordin... more4k recording may not be essential for some. The only reason ppl are going for Snapdragon 800 is mainly because the earlier Exynos Octa in Galaxy S4 failed to deliver the promises although not far worst from Snapdragon 600. If Samsung has fixed the newer version of Exynos Octa then it should give very good battery life, great multi-tasking ability, and great 3d gaming performance. I'd say better wait for official review and comparison before judging these variants. I think majority of ppl prefer a device that has best battery life. If LTE is important, then N9005 is the best option. I'm pretty happy with the HSDPA+ performance here which is around 15-35Mbps download speed with less power consumption.
