set is amazing. Good camera quality and features. But i m facing problem of no network access and sms fails to send. Cant get over it.I am a warid user and using same sim but never faced no signal access problem

Khye, 25 Jan 2015Haha, not a huge fan of note series but a experienced user of Note 3 Neo and now still using i... moreWhy r u planning to buy Note8.0 its an old tablet with Note2 chipset..wait as Samsung releasing its last year's tablet with Snapdragon410(64bit) SoC.
Frankly speaking Tab3 8.0 & Note8.0 were the amongst the best tabs made by Samsung & still it is.
Last year's tab series doesn't worth except the Pro series & TabS..but those were expensive..
Better u wait & buy 64bit revised tab series coming soon
But no doubt if u want u can buy the Note8.0 as its a less expensive tab with a Spen..good for kids too

To check your Android version. Go to setting, General, About device.

Samsung now replaced and used the smart remote control app by Peel Technologies developer.
But Note 3 Neo you got to manually download the smart remote by Peel Technologies from play store like explained by Helping hand.

I haven't own a Note 8.0 yet and now I'm studying it and interested to buy it. By the way, how's your opinion of Note 8.0? It surely not match to Note 3 Neo but it is a good tablet.
About the black bezel, I have no idea about it. But if it's 5.5inch sharp and good to see, then I think it's not a problem.
Before this I had owned Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 and got the display defect. The display screen is tilted and quite obvious so I go to claim warranty and they replaced a new screen for me. After that I sold it because cannot play game smoothly as expected.

Are you sure both sides also thicker compare to your fr... moreYes d screen is exactly 5.5inches..only d inside on-screen black bezel is thicker than my frnd's white N3neo, just by little only. Else no prblm at all in this device. Mine also running on 4.4.2 (India)
Now waiting fr d nxt upgrade.
By d way it seems u r a huge fan of Note series..like me & u also hav NoteTab 510..b'coz I saw ur comments there too :)

How do you upgrade your Android version from 4.3 to 4.4? When I do software updates, it says 'all updates have been installed' but my Android version satys the same.

It really really sucks, laggy slow and crashes in any game, i would give it a 1/10 just cuz its android software

awesome phone that i ever had! good job Samsung. already upgrade to 4.4.2 kitkat. hope samsung will upgrade to 5.0 lollipop. actually it was samsung note 3 younger brother. it comes with 5.5 inch n 8mp camera. i give u 5 stars Samsung!

I have purchased note 3 neo just a month ago and it has started switching off and without taking out the battery it never starts anyone knows why I M facing this problem and I have repaired it also but the problem remains the same..

Arjun , 22 Jan 2015It is better to have htc desire 820 than note 3 neo.comparatively htc provide more features e... moreDoes HTC has spen? Does HTC has super amoled display? Does HTC has removable battery? Note 3 neo don't need 13 megapixel because it has super amoled display with decent camera so 8 megapixel is enough for this. If you want 13 megapixel camera with this budget go for galaxy A5 with 13 megapixel camera. Note series are totally different.
