Hi guys,whoseover s facing problem in updating contact in new lolipop 5.1.1 update,go to settings,search for contact storage(NOT CONTACTS) ,1s u l find contact storage,tap clear cache,clear data..and then ok..
Your contacts will be updated,it worked out for me,may be for u as well...

word of advice, if u are still on KK4.4, dont upgrade to 5.1.1 until samsung releases bug fixes.
4.4.2 is much better on this phone in terms of smoothness & fast response.

Call log is so slow. This is inspite of factory resetiing before upgrade and after upgrade and wiping cache and everything for a clean upgrade. Mine is non-rooted phone. I should have kept at 4.4. the Touch Wiz UI is so buggy its samsung's fault not androids.

root you devices... uninstall smart manager!! your bugs will fix... lockscreen freezing... after uninstalling smart manager.. now it is working awesome man.. happy :)

Have you guys noticed the camera quality after lollipop update. ? I think it has been improved.

i am unable to view my contacts.. it keeps display 'updating contact list'. Its been 3 days since the upgrade.. n m really frustrated.. how can i back up my contacts?

sng666, 15 Feb 2016did this but i m seeing lag more prominently while scrolling in the call history.Laggy call log scrolling is inevitable.

Well guys, if any one is having battery issue i would recommend disabling developers option.
That could solve the problem.

Guys just get backup of ur data and then factory reset ur cell..then clear cache. ..then update ur beast to lollipop ...ur done...
I did the same as above and didn't face any problem till now...everything is working smoothly and faster than before..New functions are awesome...go for lollipop only after reset process. ..

I have Sansung Note 3 neo.... After the lollipop update phone contacts not getting synchronised and its eating too much of battery which previously was not an issue .....

i have sm-n750l. tried every rooting app both apks and exe. nothing works. anyone can help?im running on 5.1.1. i just wanted to uninstall bloatwares.
