After using the Samsung galaxy note 3 neo for about 3 months here is my review for the smartphone...
1. Build quality
The build quality of the note 3 neo is just superb, no creaking sounds, no improper fittings. The faux leather back and the metal like frame is just perfect.
2. UI
The UI is overall smooth and the most part lag free. The exynos 5260 handles touchwiz very well.
3. Camera, audio output, call quality
The 8mp camera found on the note 3 neo is for the most part decent but not the best. The camera found on the grand 2 was better. These maybe software issues. The photos in daylight come to be excellent, but the camera struggles a lot in night. The front facing camera is also the same.. At light the pictures come out to be decent but struggles during night.
The audio output is pretty decent and best found by a speaker without any tech. The boomsound speakers and other technology would be way ahead but without any technology the speaker on note 3 neo performs very decent...
Call quality is also excellent on this phone, no issues with it.
4. Display, battery life
The note 3 neo has a very good display and is easily visible in sunlight... The viewing angles are also excellent... But I found out the red colours on this phone to be very much punchy... It would have been great if it would have been a less punchy...
The battery life I got on this phone was also outstanding.. I never needed to worry about battery or carry power banks with it.. I charge it full overnight and at the end of the day I used to be on 40-50%... I could easily get a screen on time of about 5-6 hours... Also it has a type of fast charging... It would charge terribly fast for about 60% and then gradually decrease the rate of charging...
5. Gaming performance
The gaming performance is very good on this phone and I never suffered any frame drops or studdering even when the phone was highly stressed... Also I never encountered any type of heating issues, it would get warm.at some extent but that's ok with a smartphone...
7. Some cons
a. It would be great if this phone came with an optional dual sim ( just a personal preference)
b. No FM radio
c. It would be great if it was upgraded to lollipop.
d. Lack of the new touchwiz has made it kind of outdated.
Other than these flaws the phone still rules the market... It still has a very capable processor compared to the ones which are having the snapdragon 410 with this price range...
Sm-7505 4G doesnt work in India.
Airtel shows me my device is not compatible :(
I purchased new handset few days b4 here in KSA. 4G i.e. SM-N7505. Whenever I turn on net with data sim it shows 4G on screen even though I put it on 3G only i.e. HSDPA only mode & more over whenever I turn off data still it shows 4G on screen. Why like this? Also inserted sim name shows as USIM insted of the service provider. Why like this?
Hi. It supports 4G? Kindly inform.
sng666, 13 Aug 2015100% correct Before i bought the N3N in Nov-2014, the OPO was provided by invite only and g... moreDude, getting the oneplus one invite was damn easy... If we would create an account on their site they would send us an invite within 7 days... I don't know what procedure they are following now, but previously it was the same... Unfortunately I didn't knew this and I created an account, after about 15 days I checked my email and found an invite, but that was of no use because it was expired... I could manage an invite but I decided to go for the note 3 because I wanted a primary phone and oneplus company was new and not as trustworthy as samsung... So I decided to play safe and puchase the note 3

Shhzd amar, 12 Aug 2015Oneplus one is far bettwr than the note 3 neo... You can undoubtedly go for it...100% correct
Before i bought the N3N in Nov-2014, the OPO was provided by invite only and got tired waiting for an invite and my Xperia M had conked off.
AnonD-416102, 08 Aug 2015N7505 yes, N750 no Sm-n750 yes
U guyz should keep calm.If samsung wants to give update he will give 100 percent update. And as I said earlier that samsung is still working on android L and you also should think about that if Samsung don't want to give an update he says directly that update was cancelled like such as S4 mini.So u people should keep calm and let Samsung do their work. They will give update soon in few weeks

Anonymous, 12 Aug 2015should I go for the one plus one or the samsung note 3 neo??Oneplus one is far bettwr than the note 3 neo... You can undoubtedly go for it...
i purchased 2 months ago and expected that 20mb and 50mb updates are lollipop preparatio updates and this phone will get lollipop. but now it is almost 2 months over still no sign of lollipop and J7 model with 5.1.1 in half of this note 3 neo price. bad decision...
should I go for the one plus one or the samsung note 3 neo??
sng666, 11 Aug 2015before note 3 neo, i had a xperia m. Was very disappointed as the numerous updates provided fo... moreI used to own a xperia C, honestly, I loved that phone... Yes, I had some issues with it like, the battery draining 20% overnight and keyboard lag... But I believe that the keyboard lag was due to lack of the internal storage, it had only 4gb of internal memory. But anyways I loved the phone, the battery saving mode which sony offers is brilliant...!!
But, here again comes the fact that, sony phones are overpriced.. The sony xperia T2 ultra is priced for around 17000, which is too much... The phone has nothing special, the 13mp camera has grown old, 1gb can be easily found on some budget phones... Yes, sony offers quality but the price cannot be bumped so much, the moto G offers something similar in 5k less than sony....
Coming to HTC, dude, never buy a htc product... The midrangers are shit... I used to own a desire 820 and believe me, my experience with it was very nasty... No updates, lots of heating, very slow charging, bad battery backup, low performance were some of the issues which I faced... And these grew even worse when the phone started growing old, the phone would respond so slow that I started getting annoyed with it...
The note 3 and the note 3 neo, are one the best products that I've used... Only the note 3 neo lacks is in the new touchwiz department... I want the new touchwiz, its awesome... Even if I don't get lollipop update it won't matter me... Sadly there are no ROM's available for the note 3 neo. ...
Shhzd amar, 11 Aug 2015How many of you agree to sell your phones, simply due to lack of lollipop update?Stop using my name to comment... Guys, my original comments are the ones in which my name is written in bold letter which signifies that i have logged in to gsmarena

@Vinod, Screenmirror can be used with SmartTV's only. For Non-SmartTV's we can connect phone using MHL-HDMI-microusb port cable. Just wanted reviews before buying the cable blindly.

Dude, you say sony phones are the best... Do you know that the sony flagships ar... morebefore note 3 neo, i had a xperia m. Was very disappointed as the numerous updates provided for this phone only worsened the issues, battery drain, no kitkat, several bugs, etc. Sony had promised that the update cycle for all lower end phones will be 1.5 yrs(or something like that) but in one year itself they announced that they will not provide further updates for xperia M. Was really pissed off with this announcement and i vowed to never purchase sony phones.
hence decided to go a note 3 neo as atleast this phone is very stable on kitkat as far as the several reviews and feedback i read on gsmarena.
another phone that i have is grand-2 which is another phone where users on various forum have complained that kitkat had lot of bugs and causing quick battery drain.
its better to go for motorola as they provide constant updates. this is the only company that provides updates to lower cost phones. Sony, samsung, htc etc all do not provide updates to lower end phones.
@Amyqwerty
Dude, you say sony phones are the best... Do you know that the sony flagships are just becoming a flop and sony is actually doing nothing for it... Its midrangers have started getting too much old and outdated... The one you are using, the xperia C3, still uses the snapdragon 400, isn't that very outdated? In a few days the snapdragon 412 is going to come... Sony recently launched the M4 aqua, which also is nearly a flop because of the heating issues and low storage space... To say honestly dude, before purchasing the note 3 neo, I was looking for a sony phone... Yes, its very true that sony offers the best hardware... But in between 16k to 22k there is not a good phone from sony... The sony xperia C3 is just shit with only 1gb RAM, 8gb internal and snapdragon 400, something same was seen with the Sony xperia T2 ultra and T3, apart from these there was xperia M2... Or there was xperia Z1, which I couldn't afford...
If you even compare it with motorola, motorola has a good phone in every budget, even lenovo is developing, xiaomi also had its phones... All are running successful but where is sony?
