If only you root your phone and install a downgrade android version then you can , but its the owner's call. If you ask what rom wld i choose if i rooted my phone then I'd say, I'd go for S7 edge rom from XDA develops , i guess its from Dr.Ketan. You can check you tube video for more info . just type Dr.Ketan S7 rom for note 4. you'll get the idea

marshmallow update is great!! my note 4 exynos now runs faster than before, has better battery life and all the new features. the standby time is great!! 10 hours and 2% battery drain .
people having problems should do a factory reset, it should fix some problems.

Hybrid Asian, 03 Jun 2016Marshmallow on my Note 4 has been majestic. It has automatic battery saving function for apps... moreApp power saving was always there. Before 6.01 upgrade.
Power saving in settings has now gone, as has ability to use greyscale screen.
My battery life has gone down now! 😠
Hybrid Asian, 03 Jun 2016Marshmallow on my Note 4 has been majestic. It has automatic battery saving function for apps... moreThe 6.01 update is awful.
Power saving function in settings has disappeared, as has the ability to use greyscale.
On the move reading, using Web or Twitter I used power saving mode with greyscale switched on. I can't now, battery drain is greater 😠
Samsung Internet browser has lost font choice in settings /advanced I used to be able to set the font size comfortable for me to read easily - NOT NOW!
Its no faster, I do have poncy new icons & when you remove the stylus prettier icons there.
More power drain, no power saving settings in settings anymore, no greyscale function, Samsung support can't help & were not aware of their changes.
Wish I'd never upgraded, hope I get fixes done quickly.
