This is suberb device. I have the latest official software version, the battery lasts long, everything works fine with a lot of installed applications. I don't know why somebody has problems with it.
Anonymous, 08 Jan 2018You please Google for note 4 motherboard failureMotherboard failure is only becaus of dropping the phone frequently. Even My Samsung Note 4 has motherboard problem in June 2017. It was replaced free because my phone was under extended warranty. Now I didnt even drop my phone even once till now. So it is working fine.
Note that gorilla glass just protects the display. Not the motherboard. Whenever you drop, the shock waves will transfer from bottom to top part of the phone (at the direction in which it is falling) via the motherboard because it is the only part which is at the centre part of all mobile phones sandwiched between the display and the back cover.
Hope you may have understood now.

My phone is functioning normally after each update.
My friend's Note 4 was upgraded then it become restarting all the time. The question is what can we do to get that Note 4 back to normal?
Note 4 User, 05 Jan 2018The same here - 1 August 2017 on N910CMy Note 4 N910G Indian Version has stopped getting any OS Update since 2016 April, which was a 1334MB Update, that got me Marshmallow 6.0.1. Later on, I got only Security patch updates until August 2017. After that, there were no Security patch updates. Recently I got an update notification on 5th January 2018. It was 330 MB in size. I eagerly installed it. Nothing Changed, the Android Version is 6.0.1, Android Security Patch Level has the same 01 Aug 2017. Kernel Version has only changed to Dec 15 2017. No noticeable changes. After this update, I have been seeing these changes in the phone:
1. Phone Switches Off and On and Off Alternatively when the Battery Level falls below 25%.
2. The Status LED Alternates from Cyan to Blue and Suddenly the Screen Flashes along with Touchpad LED lights and Flash LED near the Camera.
3. If Volume Up/Down is pressed momentarily, it automatically increases the volume to maximum/decreases the volume to minimum, instead of decrements/increments with every push of the button.
4. The Fingerprint scanner scans the finger correctly but sometimes it does not even respond.
The Galaxy Note 4 is the best Smarphone I used ever, not only for its build quality but also for the removable battery and the pretty awesome camera it had, but the Marshmallow 6.0.1 update has destroyed my perfectly working phone:
- Boot looping.
- The poor SOT, for only 2h.
- The bad memory management.
- Heating more and more overtime...
On top of that the battery problems, I have bought 2 new battery but it seems that they die quickly and I have to buy new ones... Now the phone is pretty much dead, as it keeps boot looping on the galaxy note 4 logo...
Basically it is a nightmare awning a Note 4 nowadays!
By the way I owned Note 3 and galaxy S4, and the support for the two devices wasn't better either...
I will only say thank you to Samsung and their dev-team, as a client you made me realise how much you care for money over good servies.
Now I'll switch to other brands that have better servies.
Has anyone else got the 330 MB software update today ? The security patch is still the same, shows 1st August. I wonder what has changed.
You ****** Samsung Dev Team! Stop cheating your loyal Samsung users. You ******* our properly working Note 4 with the ****** marshmallow update. You destroyed the access to micro sd card on purpose because you wanted to sell your bulky Note 5 (like a brick). And now you want to sell your (battery problem) Note 8s. That's why you are not giving normal updates to Note 4. Micro sd card continuously ejecting and inserting with no sense. Our note 4s are suffering with Marshmallow. Beside this there are network issues as well. You are still cheating note 4 users with bunch of bull**** security updates. Nothing is changing with these **** updates. You have to (you have to) give Android Nougat to Note 4 and repair your viciousness. Note 4 is highly capable of Nougat. Don't cheat samsung users. Nobody is stupid.
I think the Galaxy Note 4 and Alpha both combine those premium, high end materials with a beasty design and functionality of removing the back and changing the battery, concluding in a design really like. I'm not a Samsung user btw, I use an iPhone and won't buy a Samsung, but I'm open to appreciate stunning design.
i'm forgot pin cod screen lock pleas tell me how unlock my samsung 910c not 4 ?

Hi all,, i'm fond of Note series, and i was comparing Note 4 & Note 5, i'd go for Note 5 only for the a bit modern Software & 4GB Ram, also the looks, however Note 4 is perferct on every other way for me, specially the removable battery; only the dated software & interface.
1- I hope u can advice if anyone has an experience with both ,or either wz pros & cons, ?
2- Also, i'd really appreciate if someone would advice the average REASONABLE Note 5 price -nowadays- as i saw a Not 5 available for around $300, Brand New, but oredered from china, or Hong kong, is it much differnet from Eurpoean stock?
3-Also plz advice as the one i want to buy is Note 5 N910A, and does it make any differnce than N910F or any other versions?
All your replies are much appreciated & happy new year.
Muhammad Owais, 17 Dec 2017Should I Buy This Phone??? Because My Friends Are Telling That You Should>>>>>... moreIt's definitely a great device. Screen is QHD just like flagships today, good camera, solid battery back up and also runs very smooth on lollipop as well as MM. Yes you may not get software support from Samsung coz this is a device from 2014. No android N. But otherwise it does everything fine. You can replace the battery your self. It also looks good. Build quality is good too.
