My device is SM-N910G which is similar to the information given for SM-N910S in GSMARENA . But the performance in 4.4.4 kit kat is exactly same as your device. But as you see hardware is completely different. So still don't know whether my device can afford the update. But yet your informations can help me. Thanks.
Ive had no experience with lagging and delays though. In fact, everything is faster.

As for the battery life. So far i've gotten roughly the same hours off a single charge. i averaged around a day and 8 hours on average usage running kitkat (wifi, surfing, online games such as megapolis and dungeon hunter 5, calls and texts). On lollipop i got slightly fewer hours at around a day and 2 hours. but on standby it's still the same for me - about 1% drain per hour.
My wife model is SM-N910C, and after upgrade to Lolipop, it is someway slow , and battery is now less in time ...
Is there anyway we can tell Samsung that we are facing these problem after upgrade ?
AnonD-336707, 18 Apr 2015Also please reply with accurate battery life information. Thanks. I have had my note 4 since day one i was getting just under 2 days with heaviy use 6 months or so down the line im still gbetting just over one day life but obversly charge everynight
jojo, 18 Apr 2015hi guys
which one is better?
note 4 with Exynos or Qualcomm! That's a good question! The answer might depend upon what country you are in. I'm in the US and just bought a note 4 with the snapdragon 805 chip, and the machine works well here, and that is for sure, and is the reason why I bought it. The new chips will eventually find their way into the US markets, but I honestly don't know if they will work with our LTE networks here yet or not. They will eventually... .
Let me know what you can learn about it, because I am interested in the same question.

The upgrade has totally sucked. Delays and program errors that never happened before the upgrade. I would rather have the old program than Any of the upgrades.

How did you update, I mean OTA or wi-fi? Some are saying that they took assistance from authorised service centre. Should I go for that ? What's your model no. Because it matters a lot. Thanks once again for your valuable informations.

i haven't noticed a change in battery life although i've seen similar numbers of people who say it's improved or worsened so i'll probably need a few more days to really see either for myself.
so far, it's great. touchwiz seems to have been refined with the lollipop update and i find my ram usage steadily hovering over 1.2 gb, which is a good thing. opening multiple apps and going into each of them appear to be quicker and more fluid. although there are still stutters here and there, i notice them much more seldom.
overall, loving it.
I am using note 4 more than two weeks in India. It's perfromance is beautiful in 4.4.4 kit kat , not a single defect at all. My phone has got lollipop update 5.0.1 . Now I am totally confused. While I am checking opinions of other users' I find some blaming Samsung brand because they haven't got the update, some blaming because they got the update (lol). Some saying that update is ok, some saying several problems arise. Can't find who is right, and who's wrong. Want valuable and accurate suggestions from those users who have used the device both in the OS's . So that I can decide whether I should go for the update or not. My model no. is SM-N910G . Want suggestions on performance + looks of 5.0.1 .
Received the Lollipop yesterday 17/04/2015 in Italy,so far everything is very smooth, the speed is very good, the battery is going normal, havent noticed any problems for one day of use, there are not many changes, but its more interesting, some animation changes and icons, all in all the phone is still stable and going well, regards to all.
I just hope the Note 5 will have a "Removable" battery and interchangeable "micro-sdxc" card, or else. Note 4 will be the last Samsung Mobile "Smartphone" that I will buy.

The model is SM-N910C. actually it was not 5.1 but only the 5.0.1. In my point of view, 4.4.4 is better than 5.0.1. Because, these problems have been experienced Fast battery draining, Some signal losses, freezing of applications etc. They aren't regularly occurred. But 5.0.1 gives somewhat nice user interface than 4.4.4.
They better get a removable battery and a microSD port on the next Note 5 or else I will find another phablet from another brand (and I have been a faithful Samsung user for the last 10 years !) !
