upgraded to this beast from a galaxy s4 and let me tell ya, it's all loads of fun. the experience is an extremely big improvement.
number 1, the screen. even at 15% brightness it pops out of the glass and makes viewing an absolute pleasure. everything is crisp and crystal clear and even though people kept saying the difference won't be practically seen, there really is a change that isn't readily quantifiable. and it's something you'll have to personally see for yourself.
number 2, build quality. it's a huge leap from the plastic bodies of previous flagships. it's great in the hand, its feel is definitely premium. the curved glass makes it one sexy unit. and for my piece at least, there is no noticeable "gap" and the junction between the curved glass and the metal frame is beautifully uniform. quality construction all around.
number 3, touchwiz. with my s4, the ui was nothing special. although i didn't find it annoying, unsightly, or impractical in the first place, now i can't see myself downloading a launcher to replace it. it's very different from the previous iterations to the point that it looks like a different ui altogether. the features are a lot less gimmicky and most of them are stuff that people will actually be happy to have at their disposal. at least i am. it works seamlessly especially in multitasking. i'm having a blast shifting from one app to another and when you get the hang of it, it becomes something natural. the app range in the multiwindow has increased and now i don't have to root to choose the ones i want included since they already are.
number 4, the camera is loads better than my s4. focusing is fast (although not faster than the s5), the images aren't blurry (even when moving), and the quality is just amazing. one thing that's different though, and it isn't necessarily a good thing, is that the front camera has been bumped to a wider angle. so it's a little odd for me at first because it now has a slight fish-eye lens kind of thing going on. like when i snap a selfie my feet can actually be seen even though the phone is facing me straight. but overall the photo-capturing experience has been vastly improved. the video is exceptional and the ois works like a charm. might not be better than the lumias but definitely good in many aspects.
number 5, the s-pen. it is actually the biggest reason i bought this. the functionality is much much wider now and i must say i'm loving it. note taking has become such a delight for someone who isn't really fond of taking down notes in the first place but is forced to. in fact, i find myself popping out the s-pen for writing messages when i can do it just as quickly typing. its mouse feature is really nifty too. the strokes are accurate as hell and the very smooth. you can even make very good sketches and drawings as it works brilliantly as a writing tablet.
i can actually go on but i'll just tire myself out. but the above have been some of the features i straight out love about the note 4. i'll maybe talk about the battery more the longer i use it but for now, it's lasting me well beyond a day with average to heavy use.

Your right, almost every revi... moreThe unknown YouTube reviewers with blurred up supposed Note 4 camera tests comparing Nexus 6 are faking. While well known credible ones all say the Nexus 6 camera quality as finicky with delayed focusing like in the Note 3. Even with the single speaker of the Note 4 had a higher volume of 85db than the mid-70 of the Nexus 6 despite having dual speakers!
Man, I'd be glad to pay $50 to $100 more for a Galaxy Note 4 for all the bells and whistles than a vanilla Android that features performing slightly less, with mono audio recording at that, and such a hassle to even handle with its more enormous size.

Your right, almost every review says that the Note 4 has a great camera and video.
The GN3 camera and video is noticeably better in all aspects especially low light performance.

However, everything now is moving to higher than 1080p. It's great for TVs. Media file sizes get bigger, of course. You need more storage space. I'm pretty happy downloading 480p for my viewing on a 5.7" screen, and viewing on my FHD 32".
The 1080p resolution on my 10.6" Surface 2 isn't a terrible thing. It's more of that psychologal need of higher numbers in the specs. Thankfully the Galaxy Note's features are way better than the rest than to dismiss it entirely. So, boohoo to you.

Im glad you said so.
And also the QHD 1440p has tortured the Note4 graphic rendering performance
to below than "HALF" of Nexus9 and IpadAir2/Ip6 performance in the GFXbench OFFSCREEN test.
As AnandT said before current GPU Adreno420 is not 100% ready for 1440p(500ppi) 3D graphic gaming.
I have been using the Note 4 (Snapdragon to use all Telstras bands) for 4 days now. Below is a mini review of my impressions.
APPEARANCE & FEEL - The Note 4 is a big step up from the Note 3 in looks and feel. The metal edge (dark grey) looks great and makes the device look a lot thinner. The back is even grippier than the Note 3 and looks better without the fake stitching.
SCREEN - The screen is the best I have seen and a noticeable step up from the GN3. The biggest improvement is the screen being a lot whiter than the GN3 plus it has better viewing angles, better brightness and equal sunlight legibility. Colour accuracy is awesome with the option for more realistic or more saturated colours. The resolution increase isn't noticeable in normal use. It is only just visible on the tiniest text... hopefully the ppi race stops here.
BATTERY - I haven't done many tests yet but it feels a bit better than when the Note 3 was new. Standby is good as is the ultra power saving mode. Charging time from 0% to 80% is under an hour (this was with a power board so it may be even quicker when plugged into a wall socket).
SOFTWARE - Again there have been a lot of improvements and changes to the appearance and function of standard software and menus. The menus and looks of the Note 3 feel really dated now.
PERFORMANCE – Wifi and 4G connection strength and speed seems to be on par with the Note 3. You have an optional download booster which uses 4G and WIFI at the same time. Antutu scored 46000 which is very high. The N4 is noticeably quicker than the N3 at everything. Running Asphalt 8 side by side with the N3 shows a fps improvement
CAMERA - The camera and video is a big improvement over the GN3. The OIS works really well, the images are noticeably sharper, dynamic range and low light performance is a big improvement. The heart rate sensor works well as a shutter button for the front camera which is a lot clearer. Camera settings are a lot better but there are fewer modes and STILL no sunset mode!!
- I was sceptical about the fingerprint scanner but it's a really great feature. It works quicker than a pin code, keeps your screen cleaner and is more secure.
- The S-pen sensitivity and functions are a lot better.
- The settings/recent apps have been switched to match android (short press is now your recent apps, long press is menu). This takes a while to get used to.
ON THE DOWNSIDE:
- There is no FM radio. I have stopped holding my breath 
- 4.4 SD card restrictions are still an issue on some apps.
- The GN4 is missing Ingress Protection which may be an issue to some, only a minor matter for me.
The Note 4 is a solid upgrade from the Note 3 but the gap isn’t as big as the GN3 vs GN2 which is understandable. Great build quality, looks, camera and performance with no real weaknesses.
