[deleted post]The problem with geek bench is the variation in results.
That video shows the Snapdragon Note 4 at 641 single core and 1816 multi core.
The droid turbo is 1068 single and 2882 multi.
The fastest Note 4 Snapdragon geekbench score is 1110 single, 3407 multi.
Fastest Droid Turbo = 1079 Single, 3166 multi.
The Exynos Note 4 is about 30% faster than the Snapdragon Note 4.
Its fastest benchmark is 1305 single, 4090 multi.
kevtherev, 09 Nov 2014sorry...your paying for the samsung name :) hahahaand the fact that the Note 4 is the best device available.
...and also check the one plus one...same spec and even cheaper than the mi 4...you chaps are just paying for the sony name!!! and the two phones i mention here still have all the quality components of all the flagships...pays to do ones research fellas...
check the xiomi mi4...its half the price and beats it on a bench test...its the fastest smartphone in the world! :)
I had Note 4 for tow weeks now, my previous phone was S3, I love Note4, it has great battery life, about double of S3, it's screen quality and brightness is outstanding. I use it alot for web browsing as well as mp3 player and it's solid. I picked up my old S3 other day and though it was way too small, after using note4 I won't go back to a smaller size phone.
I think that note4 is a really great device and I kinda think of having one because of its great specs and really useful features. But even though its a really good device,I think that it really will lag very bad.One of the samsung devices that lags very bad is the s4,my friend have one and it is really terrible.Choosing a sony device(my opinion) would be a better pick especially the z series. The z3 would be a good example and now it has better specs than the previous sony flagships but it lacks on some applications especially on the camera.Even though the z3 lacks on those things,it is still a great performer.Sony really has to put more apps on their devices like what Samsung always do with their smartphone.Sony has to improve their UI and camera saturation and the colors.I havea sony device and its really great when it comes to performance but when it comes to the camera,it really lacks saturation on colors and the images are not that sharp because of the pixelated screen.Pls Sony keep up the competition because Samsung is way ahead of you especially with the note 4 released.
Bunyip22, 08 Nov 20141) Thanks scoop, the Note 4 screen is 0.5" bigger than the Z3 which may have something to... moreYes..it's slower as review by gsmarena because of qhd 1440p resolution.don't u go gfx bench 3.0 or 3D Futuremark website check where is note4 hierarcy place.....A way place bottom than other 2014 flagship..
S805 just only 20 percent faster than s801.
iPad air2 and Nexus 9 are the top of the hill for performance rating.
Cicquerette , 08 Nov 2014I've had this phone for a week now so I can confidently say that I'm very, very happy with it.... moreHi
I have this phone but I have a problem too.that's too slowly sometimes.specially when I go to my Gallery.it cant's play the video (even normal Video) and has lag and I should wait and ...
Even sometimes its hanging.
what should I do?
I PAYED 690 EURO'S
I saw this in a local store. I wanted to grab it there and then. That screen just grabs you and holds your attention. Makes decision difficult!
I've got a choice out of: Note 4, oneplus one or blackberry passport. BB OS is so solid. Yet Note 4 has a pen for that occasional list/note taking. Passport has proper screen to view information.
I've had this phone for a week now so I can confidently say that I'm very, very happy with it. 1) Looks-wise, all my co-workers have commented on how gorgeous my new phone looked even without knowing it was a note 4. 2) Hardware-wise, the battery just goes on and on, screen is superb as always, and I got an exynos model and probably the most graphic-intensive game I play is asphalt; did not experience frame lag. 3) software-wise, I actually haven't slapped on Nova yet and it's been a week which means TouchWiz isn't driving me crazy... yet. And 4) the s-pen is on another level, more precise than my 2012 10.1 note; my only complaint is that it's thinner so a bit harder to hold.
Bunyip22, 08 Nov 2014Too funny... i forgot that XNAh actually owns a low/mid range Sony C3... wishes he could affor... moreYup, The die-hard Sony fan that lives around the Samsung flagship pages
I have already proven that XNAh has been faking his claims of having even the Z2. He was boasting about he'd be getting a Z2 "soon" last April 18:
And here's the bomb about that lie - over a month later, May 25, he claimed that he got a Z2 early April, from Singapore where its first release, weeks before everywhere else! Look:
He had to fly over to Singapore from Vietnam, subscribe to one of the only three carriers offering a Z2 with a plan, and have it unlocked to work in Vietnam. He must have ditched the carrier, if he was able to show residency papers in Singapore.
Just a big loophole with his story.
Meantime, we all know how he was consistently bragging about getting also a T2 Ultra and a C3. WHy would anyone carry a Z2, T2 Ultra and a C3 all the time? Hahaha. Until recently, he was still bragging about the C3 in the Note 3 page. It's likely that the true thing he really uses. Not a Z1, nor Z2, and especially never a Z3.
Notice how he can only chant specs, and never specific real user experience. Totally jealous with the Note.
[deleted post]Don't make mistakes Motorola did the update before some of the Nexus series by getting KitKat before the Nexus and now ready for the Lollipop update.
Samsung got a long way to go with the update before the update come to the Note 4. While for the Moto X, they are stock Android and will get it before the Nexus. This is the soak test meaning the OTA will follow soon.
With the Galaxy Note 4, Touchwiz UI, Pen functionalities, Camera software and more of Samsung applications will make the phone delay with some bugs fix to follow. Meaning 2 to 3 month remind for Samsung. When you choose Samsung, then that the wait.
Now this is very funny. Samsung need to do something about this issue about the update time line.
Motorola beat for the second time to release the latest update before the Nexus series even does. First with KitKat and know with Lollipop. The Moto X and the Moto G are getting Android Lollipop before the Nexus 5?
Some people will get the Moto X 2014 with Lollipop before Google Nexus 6 arrived. WOW!
The Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy S5 will get it in 2015 just because of the Touchwiz UI and all those Samsung's applications. This is very bad.
TheNeighbor, 08 Nov 2014I see your keeper let you use the internet again with your Sony C3.Too funny... i forgot that XNAh actually owns a low/mid range Sony C3... wishes he could afford a Z3 but knows deep down the Note 4 is even better..
Bunyip22, 08 Nov 20141) Thanks scoop, the Note 4 screen is 0.5" bigger than the Z3 which may have something to... moreI may have believed every thing you said but do think that a phone will be faster because it has soc 805 over others with 801. It is generally believed that Touchwiz lags.
Anonymous, 08 Nov 2014There are 16 kinds of note4!
But all 16 kinds have different qualities and confused chipsets ... more1) Thanks scoop, the Note 4 screen is 0.5" bigger than the Z3 which may have something to do with the size and weight difference?
2) 805 Note 4 slower than the Z3 801? Don't make me laugh.
3) Mono Speakers? The Z3 volume was "disappointingly low", the Note 4 on the other hand has "one of the most powerful loudspeakers we've encountered recently" plus it has better quality audio according to GSMarenas tests..
4) Plastic body? Actually its a metal body and frame with a plastic back cover which has a lot of benefits over metal and glass.
