Modern GPUs have pixel and texture fill. They do that task. We evaluate it by the pixel and texture fill rate in a GPU. We also called the texture fill as texture mapping unit.

When comes to mobile GPUs, there are limitations for this task. The mobile GPUs are not advanced as desktop GPUs. That's why mobile GPU designers use different types of texture compression.

darkgamer, 11 Nov 2014Ok Mr. Silicon expert. These are basic scaling rules. You don't understand it. Let me give... moreYou have absolutely no idea of what you're talking about.

3d models in 3d games scale automatically to any resolution. There is no such thing as a vector 2d game. 2d games don't scale, they are interpolated...

Oh God, would take a lot to explain how wrong you are...

El You, 11 Nov 2014Last time the Indians complained that Samsung was taking them for granted by not releasing Sna... moreWell we Indians will complain when a company like Samsung does not give us the best version and yet expect us to pay world class prices for substandard products .

When snapdragon was the best they gave us exynos .... now exynos is best they give us snapdragon .

Since the Indian version of the Galaxy note 4 is 32 bit snapdragon it can never be upgraded to 64 bit performance that android lollipop offers . So we should not buy the note 4. Simple.

Samsung launch the exnos version in India or you are loosing loyalty .

I have this phone. It is an amazing phone, very sharp, very quick, everything ive wanted from an android phone, no lag with anything. Ive always had a small screen but im now use to the big screen. would recommend this phone to anyone. It runs so perfect im considering not updating to android 5.0 when release because you can't improve on perfection!

using the sm n910f (snapdragon version) haaa. this thing is unreal mates, makes u think were was it all ur life. let those who dont have it speculate about lagging, gaps in the front panel, poor IOS plastic shell and many more finctous issues. simply put this note offering is the apex predator in the mobile computing arena. its the hyenadon in evolution baby. its strong, frikishly smooth!!!

AnonD-12498, 11 Nov 2014Cause Exynos from S4,Note3 or may be S5 wasn't good In S805 note4 , that Multitasking Card... moreExynos for s4 was better than snapdragon s4.

However, s5 and note 3 had terrible exynos. Then exynos came back with a bang in alpha.

Actually the thing which causes micro lags in snapdragon processors is hotplugging which causes high latency. In comparison, exynos cores are power gated and hence can come to action in almost no time resulting in a very low latency.

All snapdragon phones suffer from micro lags. Even the HTC m8 does. It's not apparent until you use a low latency chip like exynos or apple A series chips.

Last time the Indians complained that Samsung was taking them for granted by not releasing Snapdragon Samsung phones in India. Now they have the Snapdragon Samsung Galaxy Note4 and they are still complaining. Is it wrong that Samsung listened to them?
Anyway, I got the Exynos version of the Note4 in Nigeria and I am happy with it.
