Anonymous, 14 Oct 2014Price is too high, I'm waiting for Nexus 6 with Android L. Don't have to deal with Samsung upd... moreVery clever, I was a big fan of the Note Series from the Note 1 mostly because of the size of the phone and the power hardware that Samsung use on the Galaxy Note original and better camera, screen too. I loved the Note original.
Then go for the Galaxy Note 2 with more power, better camera, CPU and ram good phone that was my last Note phone and last Samsung phone that I could have buy because I notice that the update was taking long to and one available they where first promoting the upcoming phone in my case the Note 3 andrealeasing it with the lastest android OS that not a problem still but from the Note 3 release to the Galaxy Note 4 realease the Note 2 owners are just getting the update announcement to the version 4.4.4 which was on even a low low end phone such Motorola Moto E for a year in fact was released with out of the box.
Meaning the Moto X, Moto G 2014, Moto X 2013, Moto E, Moto G 2014, Moto X 2014 all those phone are running the lastest android 4.4.4 which is use on the Galaxy Note 4 and so much promoted not even for the lastest android OS on it but for the software and UI for the fancy pen they use on the Galaxy Note while we choose to use android OS not the extra that Samsung are putting on is phone and for all that charge people so much money for is funny software which could be use lightly.
At the bottom while the Galaxy Note 2 is getting the android 4.4.4, the Moto X, Moto G 2014, Moto X 2013, Moto E, Moto G 2014, Moto X 2014 will be getting the android 5 in a record time and leave the Galaxy Note users in such a shame.
I am using the Moto G 2014 the best budget phone in the market and do not miss the big screen on the Galaxy Note because the Moto G 2014 rock a 5 inch, 8 MP, android 4.4.4 out of the box and of course waiting for the android 5 in no time for a update. I don't regret my Note 2 because the Moto G is faster, optimized, almost stock, with external memory and I can play heavy and HD game on it such like on the Galaxy S5 while the Galaxy S 5 cost 3 times more than the Moto G 2014.
I am so excited to get the android 5 on it a enjoy more than those who have the Galaxy Note 4 with a fancy pen but will wait for 6 month to get the android 5 because the Galaxy S6 must first be released with android 5 then the Galaxy Note 4 will get it after. Sorry, I am out of being slave of Samsung profit which is base on Google OS but trying to fool people with the funny pen story, UI and softwares.
Samsung is nothing without Google but Google can manage the business without Samsung.
If even my Moto G 2014 can get android 5 in no time like 14 days, so what about the upcoming Moto Droid Turbo aka Moto Play X or even the Moto Nexus X?

I brought a N910U Note 4 for AU$859 yesterday. That's only 45,800 Indian rupee.

So I played with the Note 4 demo unit yesterday afternoon. I am most interested with the S Pen and S Note update. One of the most compelling reason why I got the Note 3 after only of using the Note II for 9 months was the S Pen upgrade to more levels of sensitivity. It was that good, plus the fact I wanted LTE, infrared remote capabilities and micro USB 3. And here, in weighing my option of getting this at the most expensive pricing I've seen for a Note.
I love the new fountain pen option. It behaves natural like the real thing. Very appropriate.
The new recent apps button needs getting used to. I just complain that I need to reach up to the upper right corner to get options, unlike with on the lower left capacitive button next to the home button. I don't particularly like this new setup as the recent apps could be called on with a long press of the home button, and the options button is right where it is on the Note 3.
After seeing Josh's Note 4 fingerprint scanner review, it's more reliable than I thought. I would not mind using this as a quick unlock.
Capturing text and lines for editable objects is something I really like!
I tested this with a page of my A4 notebook. Not bad. This is the one thing I want so I'm able to do diagrams with text on my notebook and just manipulate them for presentations.
There's no doubt that the screen of the Note 4 is totally eye-popping with its brilliance. I forgot it was higher in pixels now for the first few minutes of my testing. Hence my argument you really can't see the pixel difference even with the Note 3's just 1080p. The QHD resolution would benefit the VR accessory, but I don't see myself buying that.
The metal frame of the Note 4 is a nice touch, I've been using my Note 3 with an easy removable $10 metal frame as a minimal protection. The Note 4 demo unit had it's metal frame colored white - which I fear can get scratched out. I don't know how that will then out in time.
Overall, the Note 4 is a wonderful device and a great upgrade for people coming from the Note 2, or someone getting a Note for the first time. I'm still processing whether to really get this as the Note 3 is a very good device, and the Note 4's new stuff aren't totally reeling me in. It's priced $850 at the moment.

NOTHING, no wide gap claimed by the trolls here! The white one clearly shows this. Here are still close ups to show you what that is scaled against my thumb:
I even tried digging into the gap. Really nothing. Can you for a piece of paper? Very hardly - too shallow to even hold one in.
The gap problem is not real! I dare anyone showing us otherwise.
OK, I finally bought the note 4 white w/ exynos version from Gsmnation for $800usd. Its the cheapest price I have seen so I couldnt wait. I have no idea why I got upgrade-itis, but the phone seemed so attractive.
I am extremely satisfied with the blue version S5 and when I test drive the N910u I will post my opinion. I wish the note had the blue color available. I will have to sell one of them so we will see which one stays in my pocket.
