If that doesn't work, turn off phone, remove battery + sim card + memory card. Wait 5 minutes and then put them back in and turn the phone back on. If this doesn't help, try a soft reset and then a hard reset. You can also check in your network settings if your network is set to "automatic". Might want to do that first before the other steps mentioned above.
kevinjohns, 12 Nov 2016Is note 4 is good to buy in 2016...pls reply meNo.
Anonymous, 15 Nov 2016Next time Samsung will definitely not included in my choices in buying a smartphone. Because t... moreYeah, same here, my last Samsung, for a while at least, however for a different reason. Its the quality of the battery, not the updates. Mine is just over nine months old and the battery backup has decreased over 75% in last couple of months. This is just not acceptable. I realise it could be due to the Fast Charging option which I have always used and will keep using but just nine months for a battery isn't acceptable.
Needless to say the TW has always slowed down every now and then and basically no comparison with AOSP Android experience, but I knew that before buying.
i have a prblm in my note 4,i cannot call?

what should i do guyz.....:-(
model nmber N910s im in the philippines
Upgrading OS is a trick. They slow down your phone with these updates. After a few updates you start to think I need a new phone.
Do not buy non-removable battery phones. This is also another trick. When your battery performance drops, you start to think I need a new phone too. But you need only a new battery indeed.

Canadian version is with the Snapdragon 805, which has a modem that supports North-American bands. This is not limited to Samsung, in fact this is the case with most Android devices.
Anonymous, 16 Nov 2016yes its better than all current J, A line samsung phones. But you will not get nougat update.... moreNote 4 has limited lte bands. A9pro is better than note 4 apart from the display ans chipset.

Thanks for your suggestion. I checked with the operator that is "WIND" Canada. They have said after checking with a WIND sim that my phone is not compatible for Canadian operators. They don't register cell phones also which are manufactured for other regions even if they are unlocked. I am currently searching for a new phone after so much inquiry regarding the frequencies on which Note 4 sm n910c model can not operate. The only way to fix this problem apparently is to buy a new phone for North American region by spending some money which is extra. Thanks to Samsung!

I dont know why you did not recieve masrshmallow ota because my note 4 is running 6.0.1 and is very smooth . I got 6.0.1 long time ago about 6 months.
Next time Samsung will definitely not included in my choices in buying a smartphone. Because they're not good in updating their OS. They're always late. Here in the Philippines, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is still Lollipop 5.1.1 for 10 times update. I'm not sure if this is good but Android already released that Nougat is already available. And I'm sure Samsung will update more than a year.
