Bought a few weeks ago -- it worked fine until Samsung updated it to 4.2.2> Multi Window feature stopped working. This is not just my problem -- the discussion boards are seething with outrage that Samsung's advice is to use factory reset of the tablet to have this feature back (which by the way, Samsung peddles as a distinct feature of note 8). Factory reset is time consuming, poorly defined as to the results of it, and certainly requires backing everything up. Samsung is irresponsible, and I will continue posting this on any board available until Sumsung fixes the problem. To verify this post just Google "Multi Window Note 8 stopped working". Do not buy Note 8, it is a disgrace of customer support.

I bought this note 8 a week ago or so. And yes, I'm happy with this kiddo. 6 hours of battery charge and it lasts for almost 10 hrs. Great. But the thing is, sometimes it lags but it doesn't affect the way I use the tablet. For those who are complaining about the efficiency of charging, close ALL your active applications. And don't use it while charging. The effectivity of the device lasts long depending on the way the user uses it.

Its better take snapshot of ur tab before u give to service centre and later if we found any defect, we must send this pics to care to get what we want. Hope everyone follows this point to be at safer side.

I had this problem last week and I replaced adaptor but after two days charging port gone, so charging port too replaced. Now it charges as same 1 point charge in 2 min . Hope u take action immediately
Must go to service centre to claim accessories warranty if adaptor has gone or else hope u still have the warranty for tab.....

Any mobiles has it' own software deficiency. It all depends on how you handle and use the system software and application. If you want a perfect one, you have none such in the world of technology. If you don't find any satisfaction, don't attempt to make purchases that you will never have to worry for the money that you are using. I like this feature better than the other device.
Have been using note 8.0 since last three months and gotta say this is the best phablet I've ever used. It's super fast and get very functional features. Thanks to the Samsung that gave update fast. Mine is 4.2.2. I got 2 times firmware update since I bought.

Don't buy this tab. I had purchased this tab 2 months ago and I got some problem. Tab was not starting. I had given to service center. I took lot of time. When I call to them, they said that part are not available and there are some hardware issue.So I raised my voice and within 2 hours I got a call from service center. You tab is ready and you can collect it. They did lot of scratches on screen and did close back cover properly. When I did complain, so I got a call from customer care center. They refused to change my screen and they said screen is not come under warranty. Then I said that who is responsible for this. I gave bad answer and raised the voice against me and said whatever you wanted to do you can.
My request is that don't go with samsung product. Samsung mobiles are so costly and against they are not providing proper service.
