Emmc chip (Google it) start to failed on year 2018. Symptoms : Sudden death/ deep sleep mode/ blackout etc. Can't power on with new battery or USB cable (laptop). Solution (1): Replace Emmc chip (only) - cheaper. Solution (2): Replace main system board (pay more if solution 1 not successful). Still a good phone to use, no complaints others than the above issue.

This is a fantastic handset. I am using it since December 2014. only replaced battery last year. I never used any random app in it. Still woks fine for me.

its good in past but, now it faced a lot of slow and reboot, also some up normal sound.
i don't know its only for mine or all after long yeas of work.

Ive had my Note 2 for 6 years this month (September) and Ive only just replaced the battery for the first time a few weeks ago. They phone still working perfectly (knock on wood). I LOL at people going out and spending over a $1000 on a phone evry year or so, haha

I had the Original Note for 2 and a half years and Loved it. Then I had an accident with it and smashed the phone with the car door. Obviously replaced by the Note II. Great phone for his time! I believe it still a workable phone for a lot of users nowaday if you have a new battery. 2 GB RAM is enough for tasks as facebook or instagram, manage emails and web surfing. In fact this is the dailly tasks for many users.
Still... my phobe died two years later and to replace the motherboard, it would cost a lot. So I bought myself a new Note 4. Still have it and will be replaced by the Note 9 when starting to be not usable anymore. The beauty of buying a Note is that your phone will be a decent device even 5 years after you buy it. I will not even mention the S-Pen since as soon as you start using it, you will never leave it anymore.

Bought a new battery, and it was fine after that.
Not sure if a new battery will resolve your problem.

Classic phone for its time. One of the pioneers next to the LG Optimus LTE2 to offer 2 GB of RAM back in 2012. Apple didn't offer that on iPhones until 2015! Samsung and LG were always ahead of the game.

I have note 2 from 2013 . I use my note 2 almost 3 n half year. Then I switch to samsung and select moto z play it's good choice for me. My note 2 device in 2017 not respond me .Its almost dead . Not charging also then i go to gallery they told me that ur device mother board gone. So i m very sad that time in 2018 i just charge my device its charge up but slowly then its on .magic happens. Then i go to mobile shop and change my battery. Now i want to know is my device working or not . Or i face any problems in future

Using it since it was released, 2012... Good phone at all but I just use it for experimental purpose now and its almost dead ... latest android for this is kitkat, ram 2gb so not good for high quality games...
