Checked my wife's note 2 earlier and the update is already available for download. Let me know what are the pros and cons of the kitkat version. Cant download the file as of the moment, storage is still full. Hehe..

I have already downloaded the GOOGLE CAMERA app from the Play Store since my note II has already been updated to 4.4.2. Haven't tried the app yet though... -dodol locker user

Kitkat update...so far so good...some says they are experiencing problems with the battery consumption after the 4.4.2 update. Me? Im not experiencing such so far. Will be posting more of this later... -dodol launcher user

sgn2lvr, 17 May 2014Friends, I have a serious problem with my note 2.My note 2 is taking some 13-15 hours to get f... moreTry changing the usb charging cable,even i had the same problem,then chaing the cable solved the problem i did not buy the new cable ...i had a data cable for my galaxy s2 and i now use it to charge the note2 and it gets fully charged in abt 2:30 hours and if i charge it with the phone off its takes abt 1:40 hours approx to fully charge.

Friends, I have a serious problem with my note 2.My note 2 is taking some 13-15 hours to get fully charged.Also in some time,the rate of charging is 3% per hour. The problem is continuing for the past 3 months.I thought that the 4.4.2kitkat update will fix this serious issue. But the problem still persists. What should I do? Is my note 2 faulty or the problem has its origin in the charger? What should I do plz tell me friends. I will be highly grateful. Thank you............

wowww......what a phone it is.....in every aspects its good n awasom features such as s pen,air view,smart stay.and its performance n user interferance is also well.n very fast processor with the support of 2 gb ram.however its battery life is still shocking me.after the many hours of normal uses n internet use then battery get down by only 12%.no any other phone can give this much of battery back up.before i used nokia,sony n htc.no phones has such type of features n battery backup.am using the note 2 for the last 4 and half months....this is the best phone i experienced ever....

My 8 Month old GN-2 suddenly stopped charging 2 days back. When i plug it to charger phone does not show charging. even i tried charging with USB cable through laptop. Tried charging it with other chargers also. replaced battery also but still not working.
It is in warranty and service center told that motherboard need to be replaced which will take about a week.
really horrified... 8 month old device is dead..
response from service center is so poor. they told me to issue a standby but still they are not doing so.
browsed through several forums and came to know that it is common problem with GN-2..
really pissed off.

AnonD-22824, 16 May 2014Note2 is much better than xz even the 8 mp camera is much better than the 13mp on the xz, the ... moreThe upgrading to 5.0 is not true, they barely released 4.4 in 3 countries since it came out and in 4 months they're gonna stop software support for this phone so 4.4.3 is gonna be it's last update. Samsung has been trying to kill software support for this phone since 4.3. As an example they already killed software support for the S3, the international S3 with 1GB of ram won't be getting 4.4 or other software updates.
