UPDATE MY NOTE 2 with 1.2 gb file downloaded from sammobile.com
phone is buttery smooth.
battery life has increased by 20% approx
nothing new in the ui except for the white status bar icons.
there is something wrong with the screen with this update.
there is some gap between the bezel and the edge (rt and lt) of the screen.can be seen while using dark wallpapers or black wallpapers.
hope samsung knows this and correct it with update.
did anyone else noticed this?

Ive been using this phone since day one it was released and can assure you that it does NOT have a Corning Gorilla glass and period.

Nothing new in this kitkat update.
just minor changes.
Samsung should have atleast addede some features of s4 and note 3...or atleast dey would hav addede the note 3 camera app.
tell me guys one thing...
do you find any changes from the factory installed 4.1.1..
to 4.4.2...?
no UI changes...no features of successor s4 or note 3..
samsung is so pathetic in updating there device..
Although m a proud owner of note 2.
hav been using since 18 months..no lag..no slowdown...
smooth as brand new..

Plz let me knw whether we cn move apps from ph... moreYou can do that from 4.2.2 onwarsds. But not for all apps.
You cannot copy, move files and folders from phone memory to the memory card using any 3rd party apps like x-plore, es file manager etc. You cannot create files or folders in the memory card using the 3rd party apps. You also cannot copy / move files within the memory card when the card is inserted in the phone.
To all :
Do not try with just my files app and post here (in favour of android). Try it with 3rd party apps and then post here.

Panku, 03 May 2014its working same as it's before. we are able to transfer data phone to memory card also. I clearly mentioned using 3rd party apps. Not using my files app. Try it with ea file explorer and x-plore.

AnonD-217159, 03 May 2014Thats wrong i can do any of these options freely without any lag, it's a personal issue.Try it with the app called x-plore. I am not talking about the default explorer (my files).

Updated mine to KITKAT yesterday.
Enjoying the update :-).
Now overall experience is buttery smooth.
Radio app's UI is wonderful now.
Battery life is same as before (its good).
Overall awesome.

> to co... moreYesterday I updated my phn to android 4.4.2. So far so good, atleast battery life improved a lot.
I can move files from sd card to ext sd card and vice versa (which i worried much). No problem found so far.
Its good to be updated cause latest tech always give us improved and more sofisticated life. So be updated.

I downloaded the update as well. Size 416.8 mb approx.
White icons on status bar and minor tweaking in notification panel.
New ringtones.
So far RAM usage is good. Yet to see the battery consumption.
Keyboard with emoticons.
Option to select default messaging app
Few enhancements in settings
Nothing special on S pen features.
Will post if I find anything new
