If you have this Smart Phone and you are allow it go...You can never have such an amazing device again. SGNII is one of the best phone in the world. Content wise. We all know that it has been cheated by screen size by other smart phones. I love it. Irreplaceable.
tushar, 07 Jun 2016which better redmi mi 2 prime vs samsung note 2If you are comparing...compare Note 2 with Redmi Note series then...Redmi prime is a 4.7 inch screen phone, so not really fit for comparison. But if you compare Redmi Note 3 with Galaxy Note 2...a lot of things are better with the Redmi since it has latest technologies like IR port, more internal memory, bigger RAM, Fingerprint reader, etc....but Note 2 had NFC, AMOLED display, video calling capabilities, stylus, etc. too.
[deleted post]Hi! Could you please elaborate just a bit more on this? As I have a Note 2 lying with me for over an year in a similar condition. I tried all that I could to fix it...the Samsung guys say the motherboard is gone & replacing it is the only solution.
Was it not how your friend's phone got fixed?

I have mine for three years as well and had same happened couple of wweeks ago . What I did was removed the battery and put it back in. So far so good, well I love my note 2 but I am on the hunt for a new one now.
Yesterday, my phone all of a sudden refused to reboot. I went to sleep and woke up with it off. It arrives at the samsung and phone name on a black screen, and will not go further. I tried to hard reset it, but no joy. Has anyone had this experience? My phone is loaded with personal stuff and apps so I don't want to bring it in for repairs if all my data is exposed. what can i do?

The phone's lifespan is approximately same as yours (3 years old). I think I grilled my phone with overuse too. Even the technician of phone repair workshop can't diagnose what's going on with it.

Got it fall 2012 my gt n7100 died on Dec 2015. At first it started to go off or need a restart to function again. After a couple of diays it stock to the Samsung and model names. Guess I ve grilled the mother card by intensive use. FortunatelyI got a note 2 with a died display and could recover a device from two halves. Besides what seems a kind of programed almost sudden death I am in love with this device.
PerceptorA, 22 Jul 2016I believe the N7100 does not support LTE. It's a 3G only 4 year old phone with no support at p... moreTry mokee or CyanogenMod. The marshmallow Roms still need work, but I have had great results with lollipop ROM - CyanogenMod 12.1. of course, you flash a ROM at your own risk. Proceed with caution. But for me, it was worth the effort and risk
I would rate Samsung Note II, is the best phone. I bought it on early 2013, still going strong. In fact I want to change the phone, but I couldn't find a single phone which is superior than the Note- II. Even the samsung later models of Note phones are not equal to this.
