I love this phone. But, it died after about 3 years. New battery worked about a week, so it's more serious than just a battery. :(

Smartphones are not laptops. If you want to keep on upgrading the OS, get a laptop. But it too has some limits. Be happy with what you have. Do not install custom ROMs.

Battery back up is not great... moreYou are better off with a custom ROM for your Note 2.As for the battery,you can't do anything about it anyways but atleast you can get good performance out of your 3 year old phone.

Compared to Symbian, androis is resource hungry and I also said the same about battery backup. Nothing can be done. Just be happy with what you have. When used continuously, smartphones / phablets last longer than laptopa. At least be happy for this fact.

Singh, 22 Feb 2017I am buying note 2 with 32gb.what should I check before buying. Plz let me know asapWhy buying Note 2 now?. Instead buy Samsung J7 2016 or Note 4 SM-910G online or On8. Both are of 99% same specs.
Make sure that it is original. Always buy from branded shops with tax paid bill and do not buy from duty paid or small local shops without bill.

I have had my phone, right from release date 2012. It has been a great phone and I have not had any issues. Was thinking of a Note 7 but when I had a look, it seemed no better. Sure, little faster, better screen and such, but nah. Not worth it. Dodged that bullet. Still. Would like to upgrade at some point. Wife has the Note 5. Seems a little faster, better screen, camera, but not worth the jump from what I have. Guess I'll keep it for another year or so...

Please, can someone help me tackle this issue.whenever i powered my phone on it keep on showing adroid upgrade starting apps. And it won't allow me operates the phone and if i do factory reset it shows me notification that '' unfortunately certificate installer provider has stopped''please who can help me rectify this problem?
