I also use swipe to unlock with light effect and its very instant. Btw.. how did u upgrade ur phone to 4.3 ?

I loved the 4.3 update on my note 2 more smother and also have the option to move to sd card but it takes around 2 sec to unlock the device i wonder why that's it :)

AnonD-176896, 15 Mar 2014Hi guys , Few days ago i updated my note || to 4.3 but i noticed that when i lock the phone ... moreWhat lock screen option ur using ? 700 to 900 mb is normal even i had the same when i was on 4.1.2 ..like most high end phone note2 also needs this much ram to make things faster for u its needs to be ready for all those high end features eg Opening of the most basic system apps and some frequently used apps for reference see ->application manager -> running apps .there cud still be some system apps u wont get to see in running apps eg: mtp for usb connections ,micro hdmi connections some misc things etc ...don't clear RAM every now and then .even if u wud it will go back to those numbers cause thats how the ROM is made for note2 .even on note3 its the same case however On note2 Android is smart enough to handle multi tasking (it was the 1st device to get the split screen feature)and it will not decrease the battrey life just make sure u remove the unwanted apps using task switcher.good luck.

Few days ago i updated my note || to 4.3 but i noticed that when i lock the phone it takes more than usual to unlock it does any one notice that ?
Another thing when i check consumption of ram i noticed it is around 700 - 900 used also more than usual before on 4.1.2 so is there any solution for that ?!!!

AnonD-243885, 14 Mar 2014can't connect my GT-N7100 Note 2 to my PC ..... Plz HELP ASAP :(Check the cable. You cannot use KIES 2.xx to connect any phone based on android 4.3 or later. You need KIES 3.xx for it. Go to Samsung KIES website and download. Cool.

Hi guys I have seen an official picture from Samsung including a printed paper for the kitkat update and the update will be available between April and May for note 2 and s3 and grand 2 so we need to wait

note 2, 13 Mar 2014My note 2 charging is draining very fast, am using 3g internet..whats da solution..I updated t... moreMy Note II is in Jelly Bean 4.3 too, I did factory reset several days ago, the battery life for me it's OK, the Note II has been used for more than 15 months, I didn't change the battery, still used the original 3.100 mAh Samsung. I always set 3G on, it is still OK.

2nd download an app on google play called clean master and it will disable all runing programs while is not in use and try to dont use 3G just make it GSM only cause 3G is eating battery and last thing dont update to 4.4 until samsung respect us and fix problems with new update
and one thing else all kind of smart phones even iphone or windows phone drain battery fast and this what companyies want cause they can make 9000MA battery but the dont want to do this now to make u buy another brand year by year its economics

Reed, 13 Mar 2014Hay rainheart regarding ur update I don't think it's official because Samsung didn't release t... moreno dear its not a rom firmware its an UPDATE OTA over the air .....so its not fake update man
and i want to tell u that SD card suuport will not be available anymore in this new update and battery drain faster and its official update from samsung and now iam using it and its awesom up[date but battery and SD card is the big problem.....an Mr Ronney stop saying silly words coming out of a child
i dont know why should i lie on you about an update sooooooooooooo silly mouth
