Intoxicated Salu 01, 26 Dec 2013Hey Bro , i am from Lahore , Pakistan recently i have upgraded my Note II to Jelly bean 4.3 ... moreBrother is battery backup after 4.3 update is only a minor problem or its considerable as i mostly charge my mobile after about 24hrs when it starts saying battery is low to 10 %. If the matter is only of 2-3hrs less backup which i think will be solved after 4.4 kitkat update for note2 in feb then 4.3 is ok for now>

Parbinder, 26 Dec 2013Do tell me if you feel any difference in battery performance after disabling all these apps. I charged the battery today at 01:44 AM and wheb I checked at 06:44 AM, I found 2% reduction in battery level (only FB, whatsapp and viber running in the background) based on : 2G standby and all other radio connections were off. I think draining 2% every 5 idle hours is too much unfair. I don't know what to do.

recently i have upgraded my Note II to Jelly bean 4.3
my Note II is new , just bought 2 months ago Box packed
so i am sharing my experience about Jelly bean 4.3 for Note II
Positive things :
Screen Brightness increased ,Screen is more brighter
Improved Graphics
New Lock screen light effect just like S4
New Tabbed Menu in System Settings like S4
Lock screen Widgets
New Display Scene modes
Just 2 -ve Things
Battery backup is less as compared to 4.12
Free Ram is now maximum 1GB (with wifi off and possible background processes closed ) , previously on 4.12 it was 1.2-1.3GB , but i didn`t notice any considerable Lag in system UI ,on 4.12 ,System UI was just more fluid and smooth
**m using default Touchwiz Launder
**my handset is not rooted
**Using 16GB SD Card
**i have more than 30 apps(Excluding Pre-installed) , 50-60 1080p songs , 4-5 HD Games ,400+ mp3 songs
and My Note II handle all the stuff smoothly :)

If u will downgrade u wud loose the ui smoothness and the new improved screen quality of 4.3..just do a factory reset..after proper backup...

007G, 26 Dec 2013Why do you want to downgrade?Because I'm new to this note 2. From the day 1 I'm on 4.3. My hope/guess battery backup on 4.1.2 was better than 4.3.So I'm trying to downgrade.
Any help/suggestions are welcome.

Parbinder, 26 Dec 2013Do tell me if you feel any difference in battery performance after disabling all these apps. Ok. Currently the battery charge is 22%. I will charge the battery only at 8%. When it reaches 100% unplug the charger (not just 100%) status, I will use it normally (like my N8. Yes. That SIM was in N8 and I cut that normal SIM and inserted in N7100. But I have many microSIM to normal SIM adapters) and tell you when the battery comes to 8% next time. At that time I will tell you how long it lasted (settings --> more --> battery).

The problem is with the operator (data problem for certain numbers). By the way, have you looked at the apps that I have disabled?. Any comments?.
