It will not last more than a day for normal usage. You must take backup of the phone's data and give it to the samsung authorized service centre once after 1 month of the purchase. I don't know what they will do. But there will be some impeovement after you get back from service.

and how long does it take f... moreYeah the genuine warranty is very beneficial. I got my note2 last may. When I bought it it already has the latest version of JB. they told me that it should be fixed in 3 working days the maximum repair time would be a week.

Galaxy Note2 has been the best phone that I owned since Android phones started rolling out . It has the best battery back up, nice screen, fast cpu, great looks and awesome features however it died last week. I don't believe in the sudden death issue until it hit me. There are however symptoms that it will happen to your phone. When it lags without any reason and it doesn't respond to your touch fast enough your phone might die out soon. My phone is currently on the samsung care center and they are now changing the motherboard so it means that it is literally bricked. Thank God for the warranty
