3 of my friends have given away their galaxy note II and moved on to iphone 5. I was surprised to see the note II which is solid with one of my friends who has bought an initial piece (last may) was stuttering like a Note I & bettrey life has diminished too. This is the reason most people still prefer iphone 5 even though it is costlier. The point i am making is samsung is good but far from teh best smart phone out there{i hate plastic} - i think the new xperia lineup beats it in sturdines & design while mathcing it is performance. I am super happy with my Note2.

MANOJ, 30 Jun 2013its allready down, its available at some outlets in pune for rs 29000/- without exchange. In Delhi, it is now available for Rs. 27000/- .
I purchased a used Samsung Galaxy Note II off eBay and I key the IMEI into the online check and it said the IMEI belonged to a Nokia 2330 classic, notBlacklisted, clean ESN, etc. The IMEI # matches the barcode sticker under the battery, but my question is: Does Samsung actually use a Nokia GSM radio? or are they recycling IMEI number? I read an article that IMEI numbers were essentially exhausted but the information on IMEI.info is maybe incorrect, or out of date. My other thought was maybe Samsung was using Nokia radio chip?? Can anyone shed some light on this mystery? From the Note II spec, the GSM is quadband, but the Nokia 2330 classic is only a dualband (900/1800).
Can someone with a Note II check IMEI.info website and see if you get the same or similar results. Thanks.

The cost is less in Flipkart the reason is it is for buy back offer which has ended today and I dont have any mobile to make buy back offer.
My only question is whether the Note II price will go down very fast in next 3 to 4 months or not due to release of Note 3 may be.....
Shud i go with S3 (sells at 25k) or note II when the price comes down to below 30k
waiting for any one to respond....
[deleted post]Try fake order for note 2 on flipkart where it's showing RS 27500, it's showing 27500 rs but on summary step on checkout it will show 37500, it may be something about offer by Samsung, I am not sure.
Nice phone
Osm phone
I have a doubt
1. Note 2 is 35k in store in Chennai and s4 is 40k but some post in this forum the price is 28k but i never find it any where in that price in chennai. Where can I get it?
2. S3 price is just 25k in Chennai and Note 2 is around 35k is that really worth to go with note 2??? since the price difference is very high (I never mind abt the size of Note 2 but I preferred Note 2 since many of them say Note 2 battery is good)
3.I prefer to use my mobile for 100% internet downloads and games and I want a best one for that s3, s4 or note 2 since I want to link this to my samsung smart tv by screen mirroring.
4.whether the note 2 price will decrease by diwali drastically or there will not be much price difference till that. I already have a mobile and I can wait for another 3 months. Should I want to wait?
Thanks for reading and I expect at least any one will answer to this

AnonD-160071, 28 Jun 2013Bro you gotta do this. ..
1.Install juice defender.
2.Install smart ram booster.
3.Instal... moreI'm past Juice Defender, and the RAM optimizing apps. There's one app that makes Android devices quite efficient - Greenify. It works on root devices only. It hibernates apps so that they aren't activated or start syncing unless you start using it. Facebook, Whatsapp, or any social media apps for example regularly updates, and the frequent times it does drain power.
It's unlike Juice Defender where it turns off bluetooth and wifi radios after awhile of inactivity. Greenify completely stops the apps you have chosen to hibernate after a few minutes of not using them. No app activity, no radio use, no power loss. Defaulted apps like phone and SMS will be still be functional in the background. It's like defaulting how your Android worked before you started installing other apps. I get only 1% to 2% of power loss overnight.
There's also not much use of RAM cleaning as the 2GB is far more than enough to handle multiple apps opened. Greenify just hibernates them after being idle.
I bought note2 when just after a day of release in India and I never reboot till date I used note2 heavily daily I never face any problem with note2 best devise in current market...speed battery awesome guys..highly recommend note2 only
