SGNII is a useful device but not so user-friendly. For instance how does one move items such as pictures and videos from internal storage to the memory card? If one goes to settings, storage; no clue is given. Another question is how does one make the external memory card the default site for downloading?
You know the old Nokia N Series was far more logical and user-friendly. Samsung have to work on this aspect.

Change the USB cable from the original one to something decent/high quality and shorter length.

Your problem is probably that you have a non genuine small capacity charger.
