If i use it, it takes about 3 hours to charge, if i use my lighte note charger its more like 4.5 hours.

I have myself compared Xperia Z in one hand with my NOTE2 in the other. I bet the contrast ratio & the brightness on NOTE2 is anyday better den the Xperia Z, it doesnt even come close. Moreover 1080p resolution sounds good but on a 5 or 5.5" screen size its very difficult to differentiate between 720p & 1080p. These resoltions matter more on a tablet, laptop or a LED in my opinion.
No offence to anyone. Thats just my personal opinion.

I think thats the standard time for all. If ur battery life in routine is perfect and it takes more den 3-4 hrs to charge then definately somethingz wrong with your charger. My S3 also had the same problem, so i started using my blackberry charger on it. LOL... Since then its working perfectly alright.

The phone has never froze on me once, ... moreThe only ones in denial of the excellent heavy usage 20 hours+ power stamina of the Note II are some bent on something like the Xperia Z. I can't deny it looks nice & is like a waterproofed device. Numerous reviews points out that the battery screen time to be just around 5 hours - and that doesn't include downloading torrents, internet radio, bluetooth connection or gaming. It needs to practically everything while the screen is off just to say that they have power for the day - basically not using it often because the 1080p screen and kernel management is inefficient when in use.
The Note II, despite not being waterproofed and not 1080p (do you honestly say that you can't read the text on a 720p screen of the Note II?) is an excellent, versatile and heavy usage reliable performing device.

PROBLEMS WITH THE BATTERY CHARGING TOO LONG??? I think my charger is broken or something, i read that it must only be 4 hours max mine takes longer than that

Last month my cousin sent a note 2 from NY,USA T Mobile. But one day my friend found the phone is little curve on the upper side. It looks like a design, But I am confused is it a design? It seems a little curve from the volume button area to the rightwards. Its model is SGH T-889. All the functions are running good except it curve look which anyone cannot mark first time. Can anuone tell me is it a faulty one or designed like this way? Pls answer ASAP

Owned my note for about 4 months now. So far so good. The phone has never froze on me once, or no forced restarts. Prior to 4.1.2 the battery would last 1.5 days or more with moderate to heavy use. I leave my wifi on, GPS, and push notifications on. It quite a beast and doesn't lag. Only stutters in the gallery but its because i have 1000+ photos, plus box and dropbox have 2000 photos in them but not enough to wreck the user experience. Now on 4.1.2 the battery does drain faster. I only get 1 1/4 of a day with my usage and my habits still haven't changed (games, text, phone calls, browse the web, navigation, camera). So for anyone that is having crazy bad battery life it got to be an app or a faulty battery because this phone is quite outstanding with battery considering the specs it has. Hope this helps somebody!

Evn i have updated and evrythingz perfect. Just remove auto task killer and if it still doesnt work the way it should then remove the Go Launcher. I bet there are no issues with the 4.1.2 update.

I also had the same lagging issues with my 3 days old fone. I was frustated how can a brand new fon lagg so much,then i unnstalled the auto task killer and since then evrythingz perfect. Hope this works for u too.

i am very happy with my note 2....its been 4 months i am using it and im simply in love with it. battery life is gud...and the processor is swift...the phone nver hangs...kudos to samsung for this discovery

Hello guys i have discovered one more great feature on our Note 2 ,I am talking abt "assistive light" and i thanks samsung again for this app cause it just uses almost half the intensity of the led light which saves lots of battery power and can run for a very long time without heating ur led if u campare it with other apps on market other led apps can just turn the led on or off and they turn the led at full power which consumes lots of battery power and another great feature of assitive light is that u can use it even if u turn the screen off or lock the screen and but again samsung has done a lots of r&d and given this feature on our note 2 for me this app is very useful as i am in India as we face frequent power cuts even if u live in a metro city .this app can also be life saver in emergency situations as well .i have got to say this "This phome Amazes me everyday". For ppl yet to discover this app can just go to widgets search for assitive light ,tap and drag the widget to home screen......enjoy.

For the past month of 2 i have had problems with battery life when on standby. Even when not in use it was using 4% or so per hour.
This morning i deleted "light flow" which is LED notifications.
Since then it has been using 1% per hour on standby on 3G... maybe a coincidence but time will tell.
