I experience that My Galxy Note II got hanging always after its 3rd Update.
So i here request all of you not to update again if you had done 2 update already.
hope Samsung will fix this problem soon

So what the new htc one and s... moreUr point of sony or htc being faster than note 2 is WRONG my Note 2 at 1.6gh is blazing fast inspite of having extra features and bigger screen and sxz is 1.5gh and htc one is 1.7gh. and they have smaller screen and battery..BTW ...only the upcoming note 3 can beat this device .....

This mobile phone is much better than sony and htc latest phone. So what the new htc one and sony xperia z has 1080p screen ? Does it have s pen??? So what if theyre faster than note 2 .. does it say samsung on top of the phone? In the end quality matters. And huawei is doing a better job than sony and htc .. samsung dominate apple and android !!!

Has anybody updated his to know the changes
I don't seem to see anything new except when u type ur password, dog feet replace the text instead of the asterix.
I would like to know if anyone has received this update. i had mine over Kies but this is the link to the full firmware if you want to try. It's stock rom from samsung

tech expert, 20 Mar 2013yes I totally agree with u. iam from India and note 2 battery last only 4-5 hrs on full charge... moreOn standby my Note 2 is using around 1% per hour. Internet use over wifi is about 10-12% per hour while over 3G its probably around 15%. Videos use about 8-10% per hour meaning i could watch videos for up to 12 hours.

Samsung is d best 4 nw i wndr hw ths lumia920 took d bst phne2012 wyl note2 s existn.. Luv my brand new note2 its charmn.. ba3 last 4 abt 28hrs.. Vry fast n smooth :).. Pal if u planning on buyn a new phn go 4 ths beast ul nvr regret

gora22, 20 Mar 2013I downloded CPU SPY.......I came to know that my most of d battery is utilised by deep sleep..... moreThis means that your processes are not being killed when your cellphone is asleep. And if your processes are not killed they will consume CPU and CPU will suck your battery as it is 4 cores [3 of the cores sleep for battery optimization in note 2].
1) Take backup of your messages and pictures.
2) Remove Memory card if any.
3) Format your cellphone.
4) And run your note2 on a fresh run that is Don't install anything, dont restore your backup. And just use it and check how much battery backup you are getting. You should get 2 to 3 days [If you have less Call time ratio].
5) For quick check [Battery drain time when cellphone is in Sleep mode is 1% per hour]. So if your getting more in a fresh run then something is bad.
6) Do post me your results. I really hope you come up with a good news and have a good time.

Joey, 20 Mar 2013I love my Note 2...best camera,fast and its really a beautiful phone :) really happy with my buySame experience to me and the battery lasts in 48+ hours. Don't know why some people complaining about battery.

Bunyip22., 17 Mar 2013this phone battery sucks only 4 hours on full charge. without wifi or 3g. iam cheate... moreyes I totally agree with u. iam from India and note 2 battery last only 4-5 hrs on full charge. iam on airtel 2g network. I have tried all battery saving options but in vain. I even spoke to Samsung service people here they say u its all ok and wait for the next update. I really feel cheated by Samsung. my hard earned money got flushed off. wrong decession.
