Benson Lay, 17 Feb 2013Hi all Note II user, have u ever notice that phone screen heat up while using it? Just like any other smartphones anywhere when heavy applications or downloading are used.
It has the same festures as the s3 and more. I upgraded from
the s3 and absolutely love this note 2 (n7105).
Hi all Note II user, have u ever notice that phone screen heat up while using it?
This shouldn't be happening. But where are you from? Certain countries have updates on this.
I have note 2 it's great , screen size is great, battery life super great. in one sentence i love note 2 it's a great phone, if you want to get new phone go for note 2 and don't think about screen size.
this is awesome phone thanx 2 Samsung for note 2 this phone give battery back up of 2 full day on browsing net this phone have good back up then s3 so any one can go for it.
my bad!! after updating my os for my sgnote2 i was really disappointed!!! so far for many features of the sgnote2 it was really good but for the battery issue it fast draining. hoping so for the next update of jellybean the battery cant drain fast
I finally got the original charger + extra battery set. Yes, I got the darn white one as I want to manage my charging much more efficiently without having to plug-in while in use. I read somewhere that effective charging is with the phone off.
The charger is squarish and absurdly large to be carrying around - and I don't see the need to be charging in my bag with a portable charger necessary as the battery's stamina can last up to 12 hours minimum (20 hours at moderate) per charge when using it quite heavily.
I made a carrying case from an ordinary A6 sized $2.50 notebook to help me organized for heavy usage and for long travels that fits 2 extra batteries:
It's simple and inexpensive. I opted for this instead of the Mugen extended battery type as it thickened and increased the weight of the Note II. I don't mind quickly changing batteries.
helopilot, 16 Feb 2013can u be more specific on what craked? one answer is to go tosamsung shop (repair) get estimat... moreSpeaking of case protection, I just got an Otterbox Commuter equivalent from the Swisstech brand for only P200 ($5) - compared to P2800 ($70) for the Otterbox one here.
The quality is excellent and this is the thinnest 2-part type of protection. The all black silicone and black hard plastic parts combination is usual sold out. The only down side to the design is there is no fold stand. I might splice one in that is flushed to the surface of its back. It still works with the book case security.
I just feel Otterbox is way overpriced.
desertrosa, 16 Feb 2013Hi all, I have an SIII, and honestly I am in love with it, but I am considering getting the... moreThe Note 2 has all the features of the S3 including notifications... plus it has better battery, bigger sharper, brighter screen, better processor and ram and SPen.
I love love love my note 2 :) no problem at all with its size. Fits inside my pocket easily. The big screen enhances your gaming, movie watching, even texting experience :) no lagging at all. No heating experience as well. On a normal usage, texting and calling plus a little internet surfing my note 2 can last for more than a day, easily! Without the internet surfing, almost 2 days! I am completely in love with it.

I have an SIII, and honestly I am in love with it, but I am considering getting the Note. So, will I miss any of the features? Is there this notification lamp, what about battery lifetime? Is there any drawbacks of the phone in general?
