My Note II suddenly died Yesterday morning for no reason. battery swap or charger swap didn't help, Samsung and TELUS simply saying because I bought this device on March 2013 then we are not responsible for it anymore. Looks like they have put a time bomb in this phone which would kill the device sometime after two years warranty finished. I am so angry loosing my App data with this device.

raj, 07 Jul 2015My note2 taking so much time to recharge what should I dohappend to me too a while back. while it COULD be the battery, id most likely say its the charger! go to a store and try to charge it there with a standard (no fakes, they dont work as good!) charger there in the store. notice chargers have 2 parts: the thing that connects to the socket, and the USB cable itself. for me, it was the USB cable itself that was not working properly. I tried a couple other ones and finally i found one that charges mine SUPER fast. i only had to change the cable, not the actual charger piece. try a few options in a store and see what works best!

In your own interest, never update to Lollipop even if your note 2 gets an OTA update for Lollipop. However, if you like a childish, whitish, buggy, flat, round-iconed interface called material design, then Lollopop is for you. Lollipop is the worst android version from Google so far IMO.
