AnonD-33318, 01 Feb 2013Actually, the S3 wasn't big ENOUGH for me. So I got a note 2. And now even Note 2 feels small,... morei agree... after a littlewhile the note 2 feels like a standard sized phone...
I will seriously be considering the rumored 6.3" note 3 if it comes out. :-)
[deleted post]"phone is junk not even 4g on all models. i will be buying an iphone 5".
(We would usually get one of these guys, fellow Note II users.)
4G LTE (yes, lightning fast) was already being enjoyed by various Android units 2 generations of iPhones ago. Not all regions support this. It is faster - yes, but drains more power.
The Note series is not for all, especially for people who would like a very simplified interface - to get out of the current app, press that one big button; how to go back, press big button again. Ideal for the old and the novice. You would rarely see a tech guy brag about how much cool stuff he can do with his iPhone, because there isn't much to even do with a "jailbroken" unit.
Most people buying the latest iPhone don't know it only records mono audio despite having 3 microphones for HD video recordings. Or that it only accommodates 5 to 6 hours of internet usage per full charge. Or you really need to wait to charge it halfway in the day since you use it a lot with no way to change the battery to a new one. Or that one button will wear out its response after a year or two. Or that you can't directly share and receive files with even with a fellow iPhone user. Or that there is absolutely no expansion card slots to store all your media and you need to spend some $100 or so extra for the next model that holds 16 GB more internal memory. Or you can't touch phones like NFC/wifi direct/allshare/bluetooth to easily transfer pictures. Or that there is a signal loss when you touch it as the metal body is grounded by you holding it - you need to put plastic or silicon to solve this and there goes the less than 7mm thickness profile. Or that the icons will bunch up the same way with no user configuration possible. Or that the camera panoramic shooting function has been around for 3 years and now Android units are enjoying the spherical 360° camera shooting. Or that dual-core processor and 1GB RAM is so last year and Android units are now moving to Octa-core processors this year.
It's definitely has a smooth UI. It looks sleek and clean. The 4" Retina screen ppi is to die for! Enjoy those features.
In the meantime, this piece of junk you are referring to as the Note II, can surpass the battery stamina, exceed the pixel count, twice exceeds the RAM thereby becoming a true multi-tasking device, doubles the processor, exceeds the versatility of any Apple hand-held smartphones.
Please, do tell us the many wonderful things you will be enjoying, apart from the LTE of your new iPhone 5. It is 20 to 30% more costly than the Note II That should tell you that the iPhone is better than this "junk".
im found 2 apps new after update 99.72Mb and 70.38Mb update...play music and play magazine. ..and it update successful with play store...

AnonD-71868, 01 Feb 2013Please tell me if you don't think that Note 2's size is too big. Even the Optimus G or the S3 ... moreActually, the S3 wasn't big ENOUGH for me. So I got a note 2. And now even Note 2 feels small, Lol. So no, it's not too big. Maybe just for you.
immy, 01 Feb 2013no option for moving app to sd in application managr like we ha it in note 1!!!! wtf!!You can download the app....app2sd...its free in Play Store..
som, 01 Feb 2013did u find any differences after upgrading?? in battery or any other thing?? I didn't have any battery issues with 4.1.2, in fact my battery became better with 4.1.2 and these updates has not made any noticeable difference.
My problems with 4.1.2 was lower performance and some unstable behavior, these two updates has fixed both issues, my note 2 UI is now lag free again, like it was with 4.1.1. The Web browser is smoother than ever after the updates.
AnonD-71868, 01 Feb 2013Please tell me if you don't think that Note 2's size is too big. Even the Optimus G or the S3 ... moreLol, this phone is out for 4 months and we are using it efficiently and conveniently. Don't talk rubbish.
Please tell me if you don't think that Note 2's size is too big. Even the Optimus G or the S3 are too big, but this 5.5" is shameless.
