AnonD-26147, 04 Jan 2013I recently sold my Note 2 and purchased iPhone 5. I hope this explain you which one is better.... moreall matter of opinion and waht works for you may not work for me,if there was a better phone then the note II i can guarantees you it would be in my pocket istantly money is not an option here ,my work day consist of 15 hrs ,i have had the iphit 4 s and the 5 along with note I samsung i8910 8510 nokia n8 and e7 experia and many other like it,never have i seen any phone battery that get me tru the day and the next with moderate usage then my note II,perhaps keeping to many open apps and junk files running in the background is the issue to battery consunption, its a phone not a game console clearing ram doe help,so does having a black wall paper just look at what consumes the greatest , u guessed it the screen wallpaper thje lighter the more battery consumption keeping wi fi open when none is available makes the phone strain to look for connection so does GPS or poor signal to some things common sense does apply close them down when not available be surprised at days end how much energy u saved i cahrge my phone evry 24 hrs most of the time with 25% to go yesterdaqy i picked up the note dual sim here in china workd grt but slow on account of its geared for CDMA dont know battery consuption yet to new to evaluate happy noting my friend and do try some forum suggeswtion to saving battery

Im also not a hardcore gamer so there are only a few games i have and are light. i disables lockscreen as it is a hassle for me. I dont use live wallpaper. my brightness is not set to auto and is very low. I enabled power saving. i dont use mobile data as i have strong wifi at home. Wifi is ON thw entire day Btw. Only facebook, Email, chikka app are logged in. Other apps i make sure my account is logged out. What else...? Hmmm.. im still left with 15-20% before dhutting the sack. Im not sure whats going on with your phone but perhaps i helped a bit.a bit.

AnonD-96404, 03 Jan 2013Does any one know that it supports flash Streaming ?? online streaming ? From my experience, it doesnt support live streaming because it doesnt support silverlight which is required for live streaming. If there are other format aside from silverlight that supports streaming, that i dont know yet.

We in the family use them all without any extras or additional apps or whateve, and I have same problem...same use and the smaller battery of 4s is giving better usage than note 2 and GS3. Maybe there are apps running in the background that drain the battery...

I recently sold my Note 2 and purchased iPhone 5. I hope this explain you which one is better. Both the Os's have apps, games etc but the THING Android sucks at is battery.

I sold my 4S and upgrade to Note II considering that massive 3100mah battery will last a day for a traveler like me, but it was completely opposite.

I have tried custom roms, stock deodexed roms, custom kernels, removed all bloatwares from Samsung douchwiz, but still it didn't last a day for me. Average screen time was 5-6 hours on Note II which would be the best if you compare it with SGS2, SGS3 and HOX.

Compare the same with iPhone 5, right now my battery is 56% with screen time of 5hours 43mins, 15 hours standby. It gonna last more than a day.

Same apps, same social bunch of apps like facebook, whatsapp, twitter, instagram which I installed in Note II.

Now, decide yourself. Either enjoy massive screen, huge custom roms, customizations, custom kernels, tons of launchers and suck battery life for 10-15 hours.

OR enjoy closed OS, no customization, no different launchers, no jailbreak (iPhone 5/iOS6), amazing battery life of 1-2 DAYS.

                                        Make your choice!
