I've had a Note 2 for a few days and think it is awesome. I have a galaxy S2 which I will probably keep just for running with.
The Note is a perfect size for me really as I am over 6 foot tall and can use it one handed with no problems.
The screen is beautiful and the size makes it a real pleasure to use as does the processor and ram.
I managed to get it on offer and so it only cost 60 euro more than the nexus 4. A real bargain and I now have no need to get a 7" tablet.

Amazing phone! but a bit difficult to carry all day long! good for a girl.. atleast i have a handbag to carry the phone

WHY? The screen has 5.5 inches is somewhat difficult to put in a pocket and its hard to carry especially while texting or calling compared to a 4.8 inches screen that is more portable to use.

It still has some lag (about the... moreI dont know why your S3 lags, and you are right that its not because of the processor. But the 2GB RAM, that could be it. With some apps open it easily goes down to 6-700MB free, then it is already using more RAM than your S3 has.
I get itch on the inside of the head every time a noob will say "with the update for Note 1 its wasted money to get a Note 2". I believe people are not aware how much better it is with 2GB RAM, and some say its overkill, yet they have no problem believing that 1GB is much better than 512MB.
I would not be surprised if the US version of S3 performs better with JB than the intl version. 2GB is a must.

I am in Nigeria and on 01/12/12 I got a T-Mobile Note 2 N7105 LTE from my sister who is in the USA instead of the international N7100 version which I requested for. Now my problem is that I cannot tether the Internet to my laptop as I used to do with my Palm Treo 680.
Please can anyone tell me how I can overwrite the N7105 OS with the OS of the N7100, or is there anyone in Nigeria who wants to exchange an N7100 for an N7105?

Anonymous, 08 Dec 2012I want to know the average time to fully understand charge the mobile via usb cable as my phon... moreUse the original charger to charge fast, it's a beast of a charger that can supply 2 ampere, that's a lot compared to pet cellphone chargers. It will go from 10% to full in just over an hour i think, never timed it. Maybe 90 minutes. Max.
Do not charge through usb on a computer, it's very very slow.

PAKISTAN, 08 Dec 2012probably the best available smart phone in the world right now. You're right, not for the fastest, because the htc one x+ have some better benchmark, but if everything on a smartphone counts, we can to say that the NOTE II is the most equiped and powerfull smartphone today until now: Tablet-phone-notebook with pen. In a few words: A Swiss Army knife converted to smartphone!!!
