As a mobile phone repair engineer, I get to see the latest handsets on a daily basis. I have had my Galaxy Note 2 for a week now and I am simply amazed by this device. The speed of response is blazingly fast; for capability, just play Dead Trigger, or split screen, or the S-Pen's many new functions; as for design and handling, there are one handed operations baked into OS Settings, it fits comfortably in my hand and pocket despite being a slim guy and although you will look a bit Dom Joly taking a call, the receiver is loud and clear and with the size of this thing, a Bluetooth headset is highly recommended.
I'm not a fan of brands, functionality is all I am concerned with. This will be a life long friend if you take care of it. Plastic materials on a 5.5 inch screen will break pretty easily from any sort of fall.
All I can say is, I've looked at most modern phones inside and out. I see this being a leading handset for a good stretch of time despite the S4 chipset having great benchmark scores. As my friend said 'With a Bluetooth keyboard and a MHL adapter, it's pretty much a portable PC with a 10-finger touchscreen and stylus.'

This is the best phone ever. Samsung always brings innovation in specifications 2gb ram, 1.6ghz quad core processor, Android Jelly Bean. What more can you ask for?

One Problem is there Headphone Volume and Aux out is Very Low... Help Plz ....

The battery life is good compared to other smartphones. It is actually a small tablet and super phone

ramangoel, 25 Oct 2012Hey suddenly online video players on my browses and YouTube app not working, they are not load... morecommon issue for android phones, solution. go to settings>apps>manage apps> clear catch or uninstall updates> or if that dont work, unisntall app if it was a downloaded app> or simply download another app of the same usage and use that instead.

Planning to buy a Samsung Galaxy not... morereason why blackberry has unlimited ata bec you cant download large files. you cant do this and that like an android phone does. i can even download 1080P movies resolution @ around 4Gbs. with your blackberry you cant do that, now imagine if it was offered to an android phone, you can do anything with it. and with unlimited data, eh lol. thats why they dont offer unlimited data to smart phones such as android. because the boundary are limitless...
as one person here on forums say, with android.. buy less for more... with the rest, buy more for less ^^

Insert Battery, turn on the device. Your problem should be fixed. PS. make sure holding of breath is 10 seconds, not 9.

I am currently using a Blackberry Bold 3, live in Mumbai. Planning to buy a Samsung Galaxy note 2. My question is mobile operators dont offer a separate special plan for samsung like they do for BB. My Rs 599 plan in BB gives me unlimited browsing and downloading. I am a heavy user and with no unlimited plan browsing could turn out to be expensive (and checking mails and other things)on Samsung note 2. Any suggestions for this? I mean how much would it cost roughly for a heavy user?
