I have the s3 and I want the note 2 just cause the s pen and battery life etc, but I think it will be to big. They should have a 5.0 screen with the s pen and same functionality. 5.5 is just to big. My s3 is great, best product I've ever owned and I have the Canadian version 2gb ram so I can't complain but I always like trying new products but 5.5 can convince me to buy it in videos or on paper but once I see it, I think it's gonna be a no go :(

Hi Guys,
Its the 5th day and few things that i like to bring to ur notice compare to note 1 although i have covered couple of things in the last post few days back..
Pros
1. led notification.
2. charging time of battery very quick
3. wifi is better
4. customizable sms settings
Cons
1. Reader Hub is now only for books no magazine or newspaper support (though u can download apps externally).
2. lods of application still doesn't support Jelly bean that u would have purchased from samsung app store earlier.
3. No Office editor
4. Increased length of the phone is uncomfortable sometimes while in pocket was not the case with note 1.
5. slightly heavy then the previous version so strains the arm from prolong use was not the case with note 1.
6. No swype keyboard though u can download it externally.

And what is difference between touchwiz?If you want to know about Go Launcher fully, install it and experience a totally new user interface for your mobile, good thing is it is totally free and u can uninstall it any time. But I think it has some issues with Note 2 as read in the previous posts.

Wow! This beast is incontrovertibly the best there is as of now.. If your palm was big enough to fit its predecessor, then the note 2 has no flaws at all.. Better than s3 on all aspects.. On top of all, the battery backup is just mouthwatering.. A lot of wifi, over 5 hours of display and i still got a whopping 37 hours.. Takes less than 150 minutes for the Li-Ion 3100 mAh battery to get fully charged.. The S pen is no longer just a stylus, the air view feature lets you browse the web with the same ease with which you do on your computer.. In a nutshell, N7100 is worth every penny you would spend on it..

Speed, Superb UI, Buttery Response, Better th... moreI generally agree... however i dont think think hands free should be included... it would only add to the cost and not many people use them.
Also the Touch Wiz UI us still pretty clunky and not that customisable (one of the big pluses of Andoid)... I tried to stick with touchwiz this time but was back on goLauncher in a few hours. The Note used to struggle a bit with goLauncher but the Note 2 has it nailed.

Speed, Superb UI, Buttery Response, Better than ever Battery performance, Realistic Navigation, Premium Audio & Video Quality ... only grudge Sammy people should have packed the box with a premium Hands free ... missing!!!
Now I need 2 search & buy 1 to complete & settle with this package for next 6 month at least ... frankly I don't see any other Phone coming near to this beast currently & in next few months including iPhone 5

what do you s3 and note 2 users suggest, should i go for the note 2?
i know i love my s3 and note 2 has everything from s3, its bigger and better, the battery is even better than s3

I got the Galaxy Note 2 this week from the UK. It's the mother of all phones. It's a magical little brick of plastic. I love it. I can hardly believe they fit a quad core cpu and 2gb of ram in this thing but I'm glad they did. It's so fast. The 5.5 inch screen is awesome. It's the perfect balance between a phone and a tablet. It fits comfortably in my pocket and I can use it to do anything. It replaced my HTC Amaze and HTC Flyer and does the job better than either of those devices. Samsung outdid themselves. Nice work!

Are you sure LTE in India is 700 MHZ ?
Are you also sure that N7100 has 700 MHZ ?
Have you or any one of your friends personally tested LTE 700 MHZ anywhere in India.
Actually,I feel all this talk about LTE is purely guess work.Until some one confirms by actually testing LTE on N7100 we can not be sure about it.
So some one please test and confirm.
