Had preordered my SGN2 from the Samsung India eStore. Received it just a while earlier! Yippie!
Can anyone please update me the date of availability of note II in Qatar.
Dennis, 01 Oct 2012Why they use 1280x720 instead of 1280x800 in Note I.... The Note 1 is still the highest res... moreBecause most of the mobile apps design to work on that resolution and many apps are not compatible with 1280 * 800 resolution.
When does the 32/64GB variant gonna be released?
I have 32GB microsd but it's not enough for me so I want bigger internal storage too
Samsung promised to release GS2 with 32GB of internal storage a year ago but they failed to do so, next is Note then GS3 and still with only 16GB!!
I'm a long time iphone user and hated Samsung's Omnia & Tab versions due to its "low response and lagging". But I would like to try again this Note 2 and hope that it is everything I have hoped for. I'm holding my Starhub Contract renewal to get this Note 2 thingie. Any idea when will it be available in Singapore?

The Note 1 is still the highest res... moreThe note 2 has a slightly resolution but it is rgb and not pentile therefore it is actually sharper. (read the reviews)
It is also a lot brighter and has whiter whites so is a lot better screen.

I am using Note 1 and hopefully the Note 2 will give us more choices in 32gb and 64gb variants when it is launching this month in Malaysia.
[deleted post]I have owned a iphone4 and iphone4s and a galaxy note, i will never spend mony on a iphone againe. Even s3 is better than is than iphone5.
NEW NOTE II FEATURE.
The note 2 now has split screen multi tasking.
A list of apps is displayed either vertically or horizontally on the screen, and these apps can be dragged and dropped from the list to open a new window above or below the app that is already running.
In the video below it looks like it only works in portrait but there are at least a dozen apps available. Messaging video gallery chat YouTube maps email web browsing etc.
Personally this would be great for watching live sport while cruising the net or sending emails. GREAT WORK SAMSUNG.
I have seen this on a note 10.1 but it is a lot more limited. I don't think any other tablets do this and am certain no phones do. Ordered my note 2 last week before this feature came out.
