I think the Galaxy Note II is sort of like a mini tablet :) It's pretty cool.
My latest post ---> Samsung Galaxy Note VS. Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (whats new)
Ace devices, 06 Sep 2012I don't think the quad-core processor with android OS can beat the dual-core processor with IO... morehello check out the new Sony xperia T, TX, and V they
are duel core and done better result than any quad-core phones like s3 and one x. I always used android Sony phone they never lags even never hangs. so apple fanboys accept the truth. Apple is nothing in front of android.my xperia u is faster and gave better camera than 4s.
Marbles8, 07 Sep 2012Please advise if Note 2 has a regular sim or a micro sim. Thanks.new high class devices like note 2, iphone 5, 808pv, gs3, lumia etc. is now offering micro and now nano sim! so maybe its micro sim!
Android applications run in a sandbox, an isolated area of the operating system that does not have access to the rest of the system's resources, unless access permissions are granted by the user when the application is installed. Before installing an application, the Play Store displays all required permissions. A game may need to enable vibration, for example, but should not need to read messages or access the phonebook. After reviewing these permissions, the user can decide whether to install the application. The sandboxing and permissions system weakens the impact of vulnerabilities and bugs in applications, but developer confusion and limited documentation has resulted in applications routinely requesting unnecessary permissions, reducing its effectiveness. The complexity of inter-application communication implies Android may have opportunities to run unauthorized code.
Ace devices, 06 Sep 2012I don't think the quad-core processor with android OS can beat the dual-core processor with IO... moreyou simply don't know anything! only armv6 galaxy ace and galaxy y lags but not sony midranges with armv7 snapdragon s2 chipset and not jellybean anytime now! android os however on dual core kraits from sony did better than galaxy s3 and way better! so don't just talk to talk! mr paid apple fanboy!

Dear GSMArena team, can you please tell me how the battery life is in Galaxy Note II... i am very much eager to know this... 3,100 looks good but is it enough to support the phone for atleast 2 full days...??
@nick, 05 Sep 2012iPhone 5 looks ugly like a remote control it's soo long LOLhell yeah...
Pity that they have dropped 10% of the pixels of the original Note.
They could have moved up to 1366 x 768 and loaded it with WinRT.
Now that would be a real machine that could seamlessly access home network shares and devices, and be able to handle displaying two programs!
I will stick with the Note (1) until someone does do a full WinRT phone.
tz, 05 Sep 2012Is the battery removable, replaceable, and if so will an extended battery be available?3100 mha....battery means....12 hrs for 3g....19 hrs for 2g.....24hrs...talktime and 40 hrs for standby mode....
I don't think the quad-core processor with android OS can beat the dual-core processor with IOS…It seems like samsung is forcing the android OS with much more powerfull processor to run as fast as IOS.
Android is the WEAKEST OS that I have tried until today. I have a lot of lagging problem about the android phones…doesn't matter it is samsung phone or sony phone.
tz, 05 Sep 2012Is the battery removable, replaceable, and if so will an extended battery be available? From the screenshots I would say that the battery is removeable because it blocks the sim card in once inserted. Dont know about the extended battery tho
