Hello one and all. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. The screen resolution is lower than the previous model. The images will not be as sharp.
Yes I know they've abandoned the PenTile screen and substituted the more colourful tricolour submatrix, but the screen's resolution is still lower.
It was a mistake making the screen bigger. The first Note had already pushed it to the limit. It will be difficult to thumb-type in landscape mode with Note II.
Samsung have to think logically and not grandiose. For many, lower screen resolution on what is supposed to be an improved phone, shatters the deal.

This is by far, the most intense hardware spec as far as mobile device is concern. But again Sammy, please make sure that this piece of genius does not halt in term of the OS ability. Your previous commitment to upgrade your list of galaxy lines have shown some perspective that you seem not able to fulfill the anxiety (OS upgrade). Nevertheless, SN2 will definitely poses further fear to some OEM..... I will certainly grab one of this..

Nice Features yo..2Gb ram is massive.Apple 5 won't have much ram and much processor.Apples are getting lamer and lamer :O..But you Galaxy s3 make me sick.i expected more from S3...but now i'm happy with this.prefer 12Mp cam also..:( This is the phone that earth need the most :D keep it up your work but i suggest that 2Gb ram 1.6Ghz quad core and **12Mp** Cam suite this one

Other feather are superb...bt still 8mp camera as sgs3...i am so depressive...common samsung ,to compete with other smart phone launch 12 mp camera? Why late..why late..why late..?

I dont mind LG phones but there firmware upgrades are not good, just ask the optimus 2x owners. I will be moving from the sgs2 to the note2.

Another brilliant device from Samsung, Wow You Rock....
Whatever Apple do but they won't win this battle. Samsung is best and i will be..
BTW Apple want their technology to be sold in millions but the fact is they are enjoying the Android technology since it is open source. where did they get the idea of Notification Center??? its simple from Android...

For those who think that 267ppi is not enough i will like to clarify that sgs2 had 217 ppi density with 3 sub pixel per pixel the note 1 originally had a pentile matrix display wiyh 2 sub pixel per pixel the note 2 however has a new S RGB matrix with 3 sub pixel per pixel making it even more clear than the sgs3 & sgs2 ...

The lower screen resolution is a deal breaker for me!
Am still very satisfied with current Galaxy Note and will be looking forward for their next year model for sure.
Moreover; the Galaxy Note II is defiantly great.

The super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen;16M colors it's good but the 267 ppi pixel density not enough for new galaxy note.

Still nothing changes from the fact that note II is coming with an average quality camera,I have been using the original Note for 8 months and know exactly what I am talking about.
Too bad for such a high end device.
