I found another interesting heavy cover for the SG Note. It has the quality and characteristics of the Otterbox Defender series. In the Philippines, the Otterbox one cost some P3500 (US$84) but this one just costs P400 (US$10) and has a folding stand at the back! I've seen this being offered in eBay and finally hit some of the smaller accessories stores. Check out out:

Since you brought up tabs, my friend paid an additional $150 to swap his iPad 2 with the"new" iPad and regretted it. Nothing new as he saw no real difference and gotten a bit heavier to carry. I'd still go for the Tab 2 than the "new" iPad for versatility with direct file transfers and memory expansion. Sometimes other people want something that can do more than bling.
I purchased my Note in Singapore but I haven't got the XXLRQ update yet... Anyone from Singapore who got it?

If U happen to see the latest Sharp budget duo sim 5" screen phone launched in China you would notice PPI does matter, or try to compare 10" TAB 2 with new Ipad too see the different.
No point bragging about any phone, there all have their pros & cons, it depend on one personal preferences.

Lumia 92... moreAs I use the Note as a sketching tool, although I appreciate pixel density, the pixel count matters more. Losing 102,400 (80x1280) if I switch to the Note II is a lot! Honestly, the S2's lower ppi was never noticable and I just thought it was brilliant. Anything above 200 ppi is fine to the eye.
No, higher ppi does not speak of being better. Apple needs that higher ppi because the iPhone's screen is so damn smaller. They can't be boasting about their lower pixel count of 640x1136. That's why they market their pixel density instead and called it "Retina" as if they invented IPS LCD screens. What the Note has is 800x1280, and if we compare pixel counts - that a difference of 296,960 pixels!
