whitehorse2975, 07 Apr 2012Can anybody help me where I can buy an LCD for Galaxy Note GT-N7000 here in the Philippines?? ... moreYou meant a Super AMOLED HD screen? Not LCD. The Samsung service centers can help you with the supply. What happened with your Note?
Can anybody help me where I can buy an LCD for Galaxy Note GT-N7000 here in the Philippines?? Please help.
I have questions:
In Australia When or where can we get the white version from contracts ?
Vodafone and Optus only come with black.
how loud speaker compare to HTC one or sg2?
What is the temperature of heating on note?
Well i have been using this phone for around 2 months now. By fast the best tab cum phone. Features are cool. I like its big size cos i can type easily. Hassle free....
Today i updated its firmware/software and wtf it is beheaving real slow. I tried deleting few apps but no luck.
Something is wrong here not sure what. I reset it to factory settings now but all in vain. The new update seems to be not at all compatiable.
There are no apps in it at present and i dont know how to make it fast again
Planning to visit samsung care centre
This was not at all expected.
HarryHari, 07 Apr 2012Till last one month this low ratings are being shown by GSM Arena site. Before that Galaxy Not... moreI have this phone for 2 days.
If i have to rate it i will give a 7/10.
The most annoing point is the power button.
Been opposit to volume botton, is always turn when u press the volume.
Its lag. Not badly but it does.
The speaker is under the everage.
The samsung wizard 4.0 or how do you call it, its nothing special.
The rest i dont not yet.
A little disappoint.
This device has a lot of potentiallity, very sad for this fews annoing issues.

Its been two days now since I've received my Galaxy Note and goodness, am I glad!... moreHaha. I know that feeling the first time I got the Note 4 months ago! It's still a wild ride with it as my all round gadget from sun up to sun down. A lot of people still think the S Pen works like a resistive stylus, but in fact it has a Wacom sensor at the back of the Super AMOLED screen working with the active S Pen.
Sketching with the S Memo and Sketchbook Mobile is quite useful when explaining or impressing clients about architectural projects I handle. I even use it for my leisure sketching daily things I observe.
Everything else the Note handles quite well from entertainment to serious work to communications.
Its been two days now since I've received my Galaxy Note and goodness, am I glad! The Note has utterly redefined the way I look at smartphones, no longer can I look at anything less than a four incher without cringing...the Note's supreme five point three inch super amoled display has set the visual bar so high I'm afraid no phone will ever surpass the glory that has been revealed unto me. Pardon the emotion.
There's a good reason why I beleive the Galaxy Note is the best phone on the planet as of now. Period. You see I've been using the HTC Desire HD for the past couple of months and although it was a great phone, it did have some very serious issues. The most annoying of which was the earth-shatteringly poor battery life. The Desire HD lasted a day at best, no matter how much I coaxed the bugger it would just blink off and die at the end of the day and that was annoying. To make matters worse, there were no reliable extended battery packs, the handful that were there were extremely limited thanks to HTC's unibody design...a power nightmare.
So you could imagine the look on my face when Samsung announced that the Galaxy Note would be packing a stellar twenty-five-hundred mah battery, I think my Desire HD's twelve-hundred and thirty mah battery curled up and called it quits. So indeed my expectations for the Note were high. I was not disappointed. The beast gave me two hours of 3G surfing, three hours of video, an hour and half of calling and an hour of playing games...at the end of which, it still had a good thirty percent juice left! And this with the battery literally new- gobsmackingly brilliant!
Almost everything is a comfort, from typing to using the s-pen. Although I must admit I do miss HTC's predictive keyboard- which in my opinion is the best darn keyboard. Now a couple of words about the s-pen. First its the best thing since sliced bread, no seriously its that good, it makes me wonder why no other major manufacturer thiugh about it. No the s-pen does not work with the Galaxy SII or other capacitive phones and yes I've tried using it so. Secondly, and the only grouch, there is a noticeable lag if you swipe quickly while say making a sketch. This is most likely a software issue and I do hope Samsung will fix it in their IceCreamSandwich update. Fingers crossed!
In every other area the Galaxy Note does not disappoint. The speed at which the phone goes about its regular "chores" is staggeringly fast and the browser opens more than seven web pages without breaking a sweat. YouTube 1080p playback is smooth and glitch free while watching videos and playing games is second to none. Again there is no other phone that has a display as mesmerizing as the Note's. The front and primary cameras are stellar. Video recording is second only to the iPhone's, its worth mentioning that video recording is the only area the iPhone surpasses the Note. Office documents and pdf files open utter ease and the finesse with which the Note accomplishes its tasks is admirable.
I don't think I'd ever want another phone. Sigh.
It's good phone with all the latest features, i tried adding an external memory card of 16GB, but the phone seems to be very slow and hangs sometimes.
androsgs2, 07 Apr 2012Why this awesome phone has so low ratings....Till last one month this low ratings are being shown by GSM Arena site. Before that Galaxy Note Ratings reached an average overall rating of 8.8 to 8.9 but, all of a sudden the ratings showed below 8 from the very next day. Obviously we can say that its GSM Arena tactics. But, I don't understand why GSM Arena did this. I remember all this because I used to vote for Galaxy Note daily.
I am a safety engineer by profession. Galaxy note provides me a useful means to store all my pdfs related to my field on its memory (Internal+ External microSD 32Gb max). This means i have an entire library of books and videos with me for reference whereever i go. I dont ever have to carry a laptop or my slow netbook for that purpose. Because of the large HD display, reading pdfs or any document is an excellent experience. I would personally advice all Hi Tech professionals to go for it!! The display is excellent!!Dont think twice. Its worth every dime. It has far surpassed and exceeded all my expectation. Dont worry about the part that the phone is too big (you will soon get used to it :))
Has anyone used this to sync notes to their PC/Android tablet?
I use MS OneNote for pretty much everything, and am wondering how the built in note app goes with syncing things to other devices. OneNote is great since you don't have to do anything to get your notes to show in other devices.
This is the best Phone i have ever purchased in my life...Everything is excellent like battery time, display, camera, processing speed,gps... Highly recommended phone in my opinion...
Is there 32 GB Gallaxy note available in the market. In my country Bangladesh,it is not found. How and where can I buy it?
